It is just a matter of twisting & turning It is locked. This is ideal when you are in tight spaces (closets, etc.). Just roll, twist, and go! That's it. Since I began painting 30 years ago, I have gained a great deal of experience Whenever I can't get these poles, I say to my husband I'm done painting for the day.

The efficiency and the right tool are what I value most as an artist with 23 years of experience. There are few tools as good as this. Using the internal lock, the door can be easily unlocked, adjusted, and relocked just by twisting. In order to set the length of the drilled hole, there is no preset length. Thus making it possible to adjust it to hold as much weight as possible in small Despite having one from 23 years ago, it still outshines other poles that newbies encourage me to buy and use. It would be nice to see some better construction on the new models, but as long as it lasts a couple years, I'll be satisfied.

There is a need for this.
I use this with a light bulb changer and it works great. Using a ladder is not necessary! Other tools and attachments can be used with it as well.
I wanted a heavy duty model so this is exactly what I got.
