It's a risky purchase. When you try to extend the pole, the sections kick out because the hex screws on the stopping mechanism aren't tightening well, or it's a design flaw. The locking mechanism moves around and doesn't stay put. These items are made of thin, cheap plastic that isn't securely attached and is easily broken. Furthermore, it is difficult to extend the last two sections. The pole is hefty and unsteady. The tops are flimsy and difficult to work with. We really needed the pole, so it's a shame. We made direct contact with the seller. Very low-quality- Customer service is excellent, but the seller is irresponsible, and the product is of poor quality. It was a waste of money. You should only buy this if you're willing to take a chance. This one is being returned to us.
This pole works well as a paint roller, and I have enough extension to roll two stories up with it. When the pole is extended to its maximum length, it flexes slightly, but this is normal and can be controlled. It's a lot better than the flimsy cheapo pole I had before, and the threaded connecter appears to be durable. For what it is and for the price, the pole's weight is quite reasonable. I like how simple it is to tighten the extensions with the tabs. This design is far superior to twist-lock poles, which are notorious for loosening at inconvenient times; however, the tabs are made of lightweight plastic and are the pole's most likely point of failure. If and when they break, the pole will be rendered nearly useless. After a few painting projects with it, there have been no issues, but we'll see how they hold up over time.
I couldn't decide between the Docapole and Eversprout extension poles based on my online research, so I bought both, along with the hooks that came with them. These products were used by my son and me to hang Christmas lights in trees high up in the air. There is no way to compare these two products. This is where the Eversprout extension pole comes in handy! This product accomplishes exactly what it claims to do: It easily extends and retracts, remains locked when fully extended, and is sturdy when fully extended. It worked perfectly for hours as we put up and took down Christmas lights. On the other hand, the Docapole is a complete squander of funds. After only three minutes, it bent. I returned it after stringing lights for 5 times (in about 15') and it would not retract; I had to go to a packaging store because it was too long to fit in the box it was shipped to me in. The Docapole was made of flimsy, low-cost materials. Although the hooks functioned similarly, I preferred the Eversprout one after using it for a longer period of time. Never look back after purchasing the Eversprout pole - You will not be disappointed (and it is also less expensive!).
The only problem is that "reasonably" priced accessories with 3/4 inch screw on threads have been difficult to come by. Everything appears to be click/lock or quite expensive, which is something to consider when purchasing a $40 extension pole. As stated in the questions, no accessories are included; I would recommend removing or making this more obvious by removing the photos of them.
This was purchased in order to reach solar panels on my roof - Because we live in a dry climate with pine trees that drop needles, the panels can become quite dirty. I bought an attachment brush (standard "acme" threading) that fits the threaded end of the pole securely and easily. br>br>The pole is simple to extend and retract, and it feels good in the hand, with grips that make it simple to hold securely. I can extend and retract it while standing at the top of my ladder without it being too difficult or causing me to lose my balance. The pole is easier to manage/maneuver than expected, even when fully extended (with the brush at the far end laying on the solar panels). Two of my neighbors came over to see what I was up to, and it was clear that they were envious of my pole. )br>br>I'll have to see how it holds up over time, but based on my first impressions, I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
The top section of the pole came away from the pole with little effort. I reassembled it and tightened the nut as much as I could, but it continued to pull apart; I'll return the pole if possible. But if I can't, I'll have to permanently attach the top section. For that section, there will be no more telescoping. br>br>When this pole broke, I borrowed a Garelick pole from a neighbor. What a stark contrast! Spend the cash and get something of good quality. br>br>It's worse to return something than it is to use it. I sent it back a month ago, and it has yet to arrive at its destination.

When I emailed them with a question about the pole's replacement tip, they responded right away, even though it was well after normal business hours, and the replacement pole was ordered and shipped the next morning, with no additional work on my part!
