One of the three levels was off by a considerable amount.
I was considering purchasing the Milwaukee set that was similar to this, but it was more than I wanted to spend on tools for my project, so I chose this instead. When I got there, I stacked the levels to see if there were any issues, and they all lined up perfectly. I had doubts about the carry case. I was expecting some nonsense because no one had said much about it. It's not. I was blown away by the quality and materials used. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it turned out. The levels are made of aluminum and have solid bumpers on the ends that don't feel cheap, giving them a nice solid feel in your hands. Overall, this impressed me a lot for a home use product. If I were in construction, I would have gone with the name brand, but I don't see any disadvantages to using this at home.
My brother works as a framing contractor for a general contractor. He adored everything about this set, including the case. He claims that the level is frequently thrown into the truck, where it is either lost or thrown in with a slew of other tools. This irritates him greatly because levels must be maintained! At the same time, he appreciated the shock-proof ends because they were occasionally dropped from the roof. "This, in his opinion, is the best set he has ever owned," he said. I was the one who made his Christmas! It's a great set if you're buying it for someone who works in the trades or even at home.
The two small ones are correct, but the large one, which is the reason I purchased it, is not? We tried the three on different shelves around the house, as well as the two read levels, and the big one was always off! I bought a level, and it's an issue when it doesn't do its one job correctly!.
The levels are exceptionally precise and long-lasting. On a small scale, the magnet is the best there is. I used my three Milwaukee, Klein, and goldblat levels, and this one was just as accurate as any of them. br>If I had to recommend something, it would be a 45-degree bubble at the lowest level. br>I have a high-end DeWalt level that fell 15 feet from a scissor lift. My workpro was fine after I dropped it 20' twice, but the DeWalt level was rendered useless. Ibr>The small level is money if you need a magnetic level for square and plumb. The larger ones are both long-lasting and precise. If you've been debating whether or not to buy, hopefully this review will convince you to do so.
I go through levels on a regular basis, and I've ordered this set three or four times. I usually use stabila levels, but why spend so much money when I can get the same results for a fraction of the price? The only magnetic level is the torpedo, which is a disadvantage. You'll have to hold the others, but it's essentially the same.
I recently received the product, and based on a few quick comparisons and checks, it appears to be extremely accurate. It's still something I'll have to use in the field for job reviews and structural inspections. The bag, the organization of the pockets, and the order in which they are placed are all fantastic. The materials, as well as the carry bag, are of exceptional quality. It has a professional appearance, which is an advantage! At this point, it's a fantastic product, and if I learn anything new, I'll update it.
The description reads "Level Set (9", "12", and "24" at the time of purchase. " "10", "16", and "24" were among the items I received. The 10-inch level is actually closer to a 9-inch level. 7/8". For a project inside drawer cavities, I needed 9" and 12". I wasted a couple of days because both of the lengths I received were incompatible with my project. It appears to be of good quality. Machining is done on the contact surfaces. They were double boxed and came in excellent condition. I'd like to keep the set because it's of such high quality. Whether I keep the set or not, I'll need to find levels that are truly 9 and 12 inches wide. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I wanted to keep them, but the machined surfaces on the 16" and 24" weren't completely flat. I gave them back to you. On Amazon, I found a 9" red Craftsman and a 12" Swanson that are both in excellent condition. Flatness was checked on both sides of each level, and the level was repeatable on both sides.
