Details are in the following paragraphs. If you like It seems many reviews left a negative assessment due to weak screws, turnbuckles that couldn't be pulled because of sloppy threads, etc. There were no problems I found in my testing. It was nice to see all stainless hardware and I found it very functional. During the installation of my kit, there were only two issues, one of which I could have prevented, one that was caused by the materials. In the end, it was the twist-ties that were the weakest. When I first twisted them around the light string (for the first time), I found that about a dozen of them had the vinyl covers separate from the wires. The kit came with a lot of them, so I wasn't bothered by that. Despite the stresses on the screw heads, turnbuckles, carabiners (spring clips), fastening loops, and anchor loops, everything held together It is the exception to the rule. As long as I had enough slack left to make a new bight, I was able to fix it. These are some of the tricks I learned while hanging The first thing I want to mention is By these names, I refer to the following parts An eye on one side and a hook on the other is referred to as a turnbuckle (the long piece with the hook and the eye on one side). You should be able to see nearly everything inside. (the U-shaped piece is attached to the anchor with two screws A tree, deck, etc ),
a bend The wire cable is wrapped around a loop of blinking clip and then secured with a blinking light. A small piece of metal with two holes through which the wiring can go, as well as two screws that are used to tighten the wire to Bights are made with the bight clip. A carabiner attached to a wire Closed loop shaped in the shape of an O with a spring loaded gate or opening in the middle. of the spool is attached to the anchor, while the smaller end is where the spool is attached to the sail. 1.

First, secure the anchors and make sure they are The second paragraph. Hook the eye of a fully extended turnbuckle onto the anchor by creating a loop through it. 2.
To reinforce the wire, stretch it beyond its other anchor point*4. To attach the anchor, clip in a carabiner (spring fastener). This is *br5. Make sure about a foot (10 cm) of slack is left on the wire Approximately enough to make a loop around the carabiner and back through the clip and then some more. Screw the bolt clips in place but do not tighten them. I. Complementary content. Take the free end of the cable with the pliers (vice grips) and pull it up. The 7th point. Close the bight screw on the long side of the cable, about an inch (2cm) away from the carabiner, after removing nearly all the slack. I. 8. Once the bight clip is tightened completely, pull more strongly and tighten the other side. It is best to leave a loop that is not closed around the small end of the carabiner. Tie a small knot in the whole thing. This is 10. Don't overdo it when handling the turnbuckle, but rotate it so that the slack is removed. During the light installation process, there will be more slack/sag, and it may get worse over time.
11. In the instructions, you will be instructed how to hang your lights using twist ties. Ibid. , *br 12. You can remove remaining slack by using the turnbuckle There will be a sag, but do not expect it to be zero. As a matter of fact, if you end up with a fully shortened turn buckle with still too much slack, then you'll need to loosen the turnbuckle, go back to the other end of the cable, and remove further This is *br13. All but the last 1/2 inch (1 cm) of cable should be cut off once all looks good. Ahead of time, but not before. It may be time for you to stretch more! You do not have to use the carabiner if you are not planning on ever taking the wire down As slack is removed around the anchor, it is removed in the surrounding area. I only had one problem, and that was that the point around the eye of the carabiner was loosest.

I did some digging, too, and I'm not convinced you can get everything for a much cheaper price - I found most of the parts at Amazon, although I found some at Amazon. com. The only way to save money is to purchase only what you need and nothing more My case is the same I would appreciate having some extra bight clips, anchors, turnbuckles, and anchors on hand. Oh, and if one end of your wire is a tree, that would be cool too. Otherwise, there will definitely be slack left over, so make sure you leave plenty of room!.

The process took the better part of the Because of my ignorance, I thought I would need about a half hour to set it all This is incorrect
5/5

On a hot July afternoon, I spent the whole afternoon in the hot sun to finish this task. That is true! I have a beautiful patio now, and the work was completed on time. It is not a right or wrong way to set this up - there are a variety of hanging hardware types included It was the U-shaped arrow I used There are rings on the tree and the In the end, I used the self-tapping carabiners on the tree side and the self-tapping nails on the tree bottom It was the most painful part to put all the twist ties on the lights that needed tightening. The hooks were tightened on the house side to create tension on the line. Nevertheless, I'm glad mine is finished and now I can sit back and enjoy my patio whenever my hometown doesn't reach over 100 degrees.

For string lights, this is a necessity
5/5

My string lights measure 96 feet long, so I used this to install them. String light hanging kits like this are a must have when it comes to In addition to mounting to the eaves of the house, a tree and an anchor point on a children's play set, the hooks and turnbuckles gave me numerous mounting options. When the lights need to be taken down for maintenance, the carabineers make it easy. It is hoped that there will be no problems in the future. In order to plan how to light the room, it was easiest to visualize how the room would look. Then, I located mounting points and placed a hook and a turnbuckle on one end and an alternative hook and carabiner on the other. In a 6 point zig zag pattern, I created a design. By splitting the cable into five separate lines I was able to avoid running the cable the entire length. To tension every section, I used the heavy duty twist ties included in the package to hang the lights before moving on to the next section. After installing each line, I hung the lights with the twist ties before moving on to the next.

The wire appears to be strong, but it is thin
4/5

Installation can take some time, but if you do it right, it will be fairly simple. It took about 45 minutes for me to install one strand This project was 50' in length, and it took me 4 hours. It was crossing my pool, so I had to be extremely careful. It is best NOT to do this alone if you do not have a personal assistant. To stretch the lights out with tension, one strand of lights and the wire will require considerable force. It is easy to fall over on a ladder when you are up there. As far as the product itself is concerned, it seems decent enough. It appears to be strong for such a thin wire. To cut it, you need a good pair of wire cutters. Make sure your scissors don't get damaged. Take a look at my pictures and see how the product compares to my hand. As you can see, I don't This kit contains all the hardware you need for a variety of applications, depending on where it will be installed. Mine was at the base of a palm tree, anchored from the balcony. If you are doing it yourself, you should use good gloves and set up your ladder properly. It's now time to watch and see what the Test of time brings. Enjoy,,, I'm so far!.

Exactly what I wanted
5/5

The sagging has been fixed and the shirt looks much more I have used the big box membership club for the last two years to get 150' of 'commercial grade' string lights. There were three large open areas (each 50' across, ca. After a few weeks, the lights sagged because there was no support for them. Although they looked good, taller people had to duck under them in some areas and the bulbs were right at eye level, so it did not make for a pleasant experience. Wire rope was used to make these lights in a restaurant we saw. There are several kits available on Amazon. I checked out big box hardware stores and found the kit cheaper. In total, the wire rope alone will cost you Kit 40') was going to be more than this total cost. Additionally, we had to pay $ to get our local shop to carry the vinyl wrapped wire rope. The 79's! Finally, this kit's wire clips are designed to be far easier to use and much more attractive than what you would find The kit was delivered within 2 hours, installed within 2 hours, but would have been quicker had we not used ladders and hung the bar at 10'. This strand of lights is far more beautiful than the one that it replaced, and the cost of the kit was less than half of the price of one strand. A considerable amount of hardware was left over after the project. The price at this point makes it impossible to beat. Happy to have found this site!.
