The turnbuckles are used just in case the cable sags. It may not be necessary, but in a pinch it can come in handy.
That would be the case, I believe. My 35' spans sag a bit after strong winds so I would probably have to keep tightening them quite often.
They were in my kit four to a pack
Having a vinyl coating

The lighting product I used is a must if you're planning on hanging outdoor string lights over any distance. I would not have been able to do ours without it, I mean that There is no shortage of quality materials, which shows throughout the whole product. The lights were just added to the deck after it was built. Initially, I thought it would take a day to hang, but after cutting back all the vines and overgrowth, I was able to complete the whole project in about 4 hours. There are more lights and cable than you can see in the picture, there are 200 feet of lights. In spite of having to purchase an additional roll of coated steel cable, I'm very happy with this product and I'll definitely buy another if I need to. An A+.
Our backyard has some cafe lights that we hung up using this kit about a week ago. There is a shift in the weather from 50 to 70 In that time period, the temperature reached 105 degrees (hey, had high temperatures for a week straight followed by rainy weather. I give the hanging kit a lot of credit for the fact that the lights did not appear to have suffered from any of this. Wire is heavy enough gauge that we had to cut it with wire cutters (we couldn't use scissors or pruning shears), but is light enough to handle in our hands. I'm sure that the included accessories will be strong enough to withstand the extreme wind we sometimes have here. In our case, there had been no experience hanging lights like this, so we went through a learning curve (our marriage barely survived, lol). However, once we got to what we wanted, we had one wire for every straight section (we arrange the lights in a "W" shape). In the following example, one piece of wire ran from one attachment point to the next. When I ordered this kit, I had no idea how it was supposed to work, so for those of you with no idea how it works, here's We had one end with the drawer handle looking thing + tensioner + clamps and the other end with the drawer handle thing + carabiner + clamps for each length. Wiring the wire through the small holes of the carabiners and the lights through the large holes is how we strung the lights. Clarification can be found in the photos. When the wall was shown as the attachment point, it was actually the center point of the "W" configuration, so there were two wire lengths coming It may be necessary to get another strong person in here to help us pull some more wire through, since you can see the tension screws are already almost as tight as they can be. As tension releases in the wind, there should be enough room to screw them together in the center. At this point, they will do just fine. I like the clean and professional look of the final product. It worries me not that the holiday lights will fall or fail despite the fact that they are quite a bit heavier than a standard string of It is difficult to find a better product at this price and quality.
Cheap garbage ties were mentioned by another reviewer. This system does not include that. All of the materials used are of high quality and have already held up against the elements. This is a great product! My daughter's house was to have string lights hung up, so we bought a second set.
Furthermore, if one string light fails, I can remove the one string and the rest remain in place ready to accept an addition instead of having to take it all apart. Additionally, it's not recommended to hang lights over a pool for safety reasons, but as long as I use electrical tape and zip ties to also reinforce each connection, which is covered with outside electrical extension covers, it's fine.
One of the best parts of the set were the cable clamps and the wrench. Wire and loop mounts were of good quality, as were the coated wire and turnbuckles. All of those items from the set were the only ones It is actually twist ties that are used as "Tie Wraps". The screws in the kit were too short, so I used deck-mate screws that were 2" long. My first order did not include the black tie wraps or thimbles that I ordered.
String light hanging kit that does its job well. The cable and hardware for this AV receiver are sturdy. It can be a bit tricky to use the included wrench, but it does the job. We have a wide selection of hardware that can be installed on various machines. There are some weak spots in the screws, with some heads snapping off, and the twist ties are not very useful, so I purchased zip ties.
Thus far, everything seems to be going well. It would have cost so much more to purchase everything individually that the prize was definitely worth it. My use of it is for holding over 150 feet of lights, and the string as thin as it looks is actually In spite of my purchase of large screw hooks for the walls and posts, I did not think the handle and small screws provided would hold up I love how well it holds up to the lights. I used the socket wrench provided and it made the rope clamps much easier to use, tighten and untighten if you need to redo it later on.
The wire is thin, but it works great for this price. Whether or not it will survive a tropical storm will only become clear as time moves on. I would suggest getting longer stainless screws to make installation easier it came with all the accessories you need. As well as that, it is an excellent.
