This is a fantastic concept, but it could be improved. The slots are too small to accommodate a phone or Kindle with a case. Because it won't charge my kindle, it won't be able to perform triple duty as planned. It's compact and looks good in the room. br>Editor's note: the manufacturer contacted us and addressed our concerns. I'd like to be able to turn on a light and charge my phone. The only complaint I have is that the slots provided for inserting the devices are too narrow and thus unusable. As a result, the table lamp has taken up more space on my bedside table than it is worth. The USB port is functional, and the base-mounted switch for turning on and off the light is practical. It also has a nice appearance, so even though the device slots are useless, it still works well in other areas. Overall, I have nothing negative to say.

Would I purchase this lamp again or recommend it to a friend? Without a doubt. A19 bulbs can be used with the lamp's E26 base. br>br>This lamp's packaging is *good* at its job. This lamp arrived in perfect condition, thanks in large part to the packaging, but it was a little difficult to open the box, get it out of the box (it was packed in there pretty tightly, so I wanted to be careful), and unwrap the plastic on the lamp itself (I used scissors on the plastic knotted around the base, and it took a long time unwrapping the top, which had a sturdy ribbon of plastic looped all the way around). br>br>I completely understand why it was packaged in that manner. It was efficient, effective, and conservative in terms of keeping the lamp safe during transit; however, it was a little awkward for the person trying to use the product once it arrived. Having said that, once I got it out of all of the packaging, the rest was a piece of cake. When I tried to put my phone on the lamp base and it wouldn't fit, I was a little confused. br>br>As it turns out, if I'd taken the time to read the single sheet of instructions for 5 seconds in the first place, I'd have noticed that the lamp arrives with the shade screwed on upside down to save space during shipping. br>br>All you have to do is unscrew the ring that holds the lampshade on, flip the shade upside down, screw it back on, screw in your (A19) bulb, plug in your electronic devices, and flip the switch, and you'll have a working lamp in no time. br>br>The most time-consuming part of the setup was removing everything from the packaging, which took about 10 minutes. I spent about 15 minutes total on it. br>br>As you professionals and avid hobbyists may have guessed, I don't do a lot of product assembly. Don't worry if you're a newbie like me; this lamp is easy to use. br>br>There was one minor point about which I was dissatisfied- My iPad Pro (2nd Gen, 12. 2 inch) is my primary device. 9"), which you can see plugged in and charging in one of the base slots in the photo with my review. br>br>It fits in that slot *without* the case, but not *with* it. if they were to work. For my bedroom nightstand, I ordered two of these lamps. They appear to be a little shabby and "hotel-like" at first glance. ey" but it's not a problem for me. br>br>When you plug anything into the USB ports on one of the lamps, it makes a high-pitched buzzing/squealing noise, but it does charge an iPhone 6. br>br>The second does not charge items that are plugged into USB ports. I used an iPhone XR for the first night. The connection was established, and the device appeared to be charging. The phone was still at 23% battery in the AM of the day. The same can be said for a wireless hotspot, an Apple Watch, and an iPhone 8, all of which have been tested in various ports alone or in conjunction with other devices charging. Why have three USB ports and three item slots if it can't produce enough power to charge three devices? Both lamps were returned. br>br> I'm not sure who gave these 5 star reviews, but they don't impress me at all.

I really like the three charging ports. Even if the lamp is turned off, the phone will continue to charge, so there's no need to be concerned. The three phone holder slots are all quite narrow. Because I have a thin case on my phone, it fits perfectly, but an OtterBox or Speck case will not fit. I would strongly suggest it.

Specifically, I needed a new desk lamp that was small enough to fit in a small space on my personal computer desk, wasn't too expensive, looked nice, and could last (had a replaceable light bulb rather than having to buy a new lamp if/when the bulb(s) went out). This item checks all of the boxes and is almost perfect for the space I purchased it for. The USB plug-ins on the stand are also a big plus for me. I have three of them, and the only thing I wish it had was multiple brightness settings. On my computer screen, it appears to be a little too bright at times. However, if the light was dim, it might not have been as cost-effective, designed as nicely, or had a changeable light bulb. As a result, six of one equals a half-dozen. The purchase was satisfactory to me.

I needed a desk lamp that had USB charging ports and was bright enough for my aging eyes for my home office. This lamp has brought me a great deal of pleasure. It not only fulfilled my only two requirements, but it also looks nice and the base isn't made of cheap plastic. It's a solid piece of timber. It is leveled by the shade. I'm sick of cheap lamps with crooked shades and flimsy bases that won't stay in place. I couldn't be more pleased!.

However. This is a nice lamp with a modern design. The primary motivation for my purchase, however, was not realized. The USB charging feature is what I'm referring to. If you plug it into a WiFi outlet, it will work fine. The charging function on a WEMO is broken. It would be nice if there was a "pass-through" option. As long as the unit was plugged in, it could charge. That would be nice, and it's possible that it's due to the WENO's design rather than the lamp maker's fault. However, if you simply turn off the lamp, it will work. So. If you connect it to one of those types of devices, be prepared to wake up to a dead device.
