All LED Decorative Red Exit Sign & Emergency Light Combo with Battery Backup

It went out in our church auditorium when an old emergency exit sign went out. In the course of conducting our annual fire inspection, the fire department discovered the issue. It's true I could have gotten a 'name brand,' but after time I have seen the plastic on that name brand degrade and become fragile. This is a better deal unless you have lots of money and want to burn it buying the "better" and "pricer" unit(s). Save yourself some money by purchasing this model instead. Amazon and this are two of my favorite things.

If I had another to install, I would have understood, but the first didn't seem to be intuitive at all. I had to make an extra hole in the back to figure it out. I appreciated the LED because I was getting tired of replacing the old-fashioned batteries every year after the inspector wrote me up. It appeared to work well overall. The battery life of the light can be extended by about two years with a bit old battery.

Grade C Chinese product that's barely adequate, but is assembled well and works the way it's supposed to. The lights on it will come on if there is a power outage but be careful not to break the cheap plastic. Once it is installed, it is very flimsy, so it must be very carefully assemble and mounted. A quick and easy way to pass a Fire Department inspection. The inspection was thorough, but at no time would I trust my life with it. Nevertheless, it is well worth $29, but don't trust it to add.

I needed the sign to be hung on the wall above the door of my studio. The document appears to be in good condition. The color of the ceiling is actually very light grey and not white. It has basic side lights that are not overly powerful but still work.

In order to replace the batteries in the old sign/light unit, it would have cost about Batteries don't have to be cycled a month to stay healthy with this system, therefore, it is cheaper, lasts longer, and requires less maintenance. It's a good read for this retired fire marshal!.

The installation process is simple. Wiring instructions need to be revised (the orange wire does not need to be connected, and the ground must not be connected). Moreover, on the back of the housing, there should be easy-to-knock-out slugs where installation screws can be screwed in.

And that's what this does for me. The quality of this does not match the quality of the best. There's not much I need from my exit signs other than to get the job done at a reasonable price. And that's what this does for me. The one I bought at HD was $80, and I thought I was getting ripped off, so when I checked on Amazon, this was less than half the price.
