This is the Torchstar LED Emergency Exit Light that I purchased. This is a very good result for me. My home uses it even though it is advertised as a business tool. Purchased on Amazon as a dual pack, it turned out to be a good value. Both were placed in our basement and the second was placed on our second floor landing. It is simple and quick to install. Since the hall is brightly lit while the power is out, the stairs are safe even during an outage. It is a product I highly recommend and I am very happy with.
What's the point of replacing old sealed lead acid batteries when you can replace the whole light with new, modern LEDs instead? The power used to maintain them is less than a quarter of the cost. I found the installation to be very straightforward. It is easy to remove the rear base when you lift the two tabs on either side. The base should be fastened to the wall or the electrical box. A connection of 110 or 277 volts must be made to the base cable. After that, you should plug the battery and then attach the lamp kit That's all there is! This is a very bright image.
