The five kids I have, my wife and I, 3 bathrooms, and we have never had an issue. For that many bathrooms and people I may have to go through the region cycle a few times.
A softener of this type will discharge about 30 gallons a day Water is refilled at a rate of 40 gallons per cycle. Though they don't happen every night, these recharges do happen occasionally. One or two times per week, they generally take place. Seeing as it is only salt water that is being discharged, there shouldn't be an odor to it.
If you want to order from them, contact the company directly. A few days after I ordered it, I had it delivered to my home.
Any reduction in flow would only occur if there were changes to the pipe sizes to connect to it. The best course of action is to contact the installer or manufacturer.

As I searched around, I found the best price on an Amazon water softener delivered to my home. My Whirlpool water softener died after years of service. The cheapest plumber quoted me $785 for installation. I had two plumbers give me estimates. I thought moving the shipping box from the garage to the basement, opening the box, disconnecting the old water softener, and hooking up the new one must have cost a lot. In the end, I decided to do it on my own. In total, I spent 45 minutes on it. It has been 75 years since I was born!.
The unit works perfectly, and I feel like I paid a good price for it. A little more clarity would have made the instructions a lot easier to understand. I could not figure out where to place the by-line based on the instructions So I downloaded the manual from the internet after a day of trying to fix my unit, which had the incorrect setting for the pass valve The valve was positioned correctly after finding the incorrect position on the line, and the unit then When a company builds a quality product and delivers it at a fair price, but fails to provide instructions that are so simple to give - it's a shame to have to wait this long. You can do better than that, man! My old unit literally took me less than 10 minutes to remove and this unit took me less than an hour to install with all new parts (never reuse the old stuff), but I had to wait 24 hours for soft water due to the less than stellar instructions provided for the position of the tank. This valve will enable one to pass through. If you want to install this unit, make sure you download the installation manual from the manufacturer's website It allows you to rely on the information on the website instead of having to rely on the bad directions that are provided This valve will enable one to pass through.
In simpler setups the cost of the parts should be less than $80. A lot of videos were watched on YouTube and a lot of research was done. The PEX pipes and clamps (not crimps) are what I recommend. PEX is the way to go If you have access to a PEX-type pipeline, you can use a PEX-type expansion fitting It is essential that you have a PEX-expansion tool (expensive!) and know where to find it This is a pipe.
It took some time to do an initial flush to remove all of the air trapped in the pipes and air bubbles in the water The setup/programming of the softener is very straight forward.
I looked up the city water hardness published by the county (14 grains) and decided to set 16 grains in the softener as my area is much It is amazing what I found out after ordering a test kit from Home Depot. There were no more than three grains of hardness! The system is also able to filter chlorine and copper out of my water! To get rid of a little more hardness, I bumped the setting up from 16 grains to 18 grains.
As soon as the softener arrived, I installed it and began the setup without any trouble. The salt tank was full of water the next morning. After contacting the hot line, I was given some things to check that I already had and nothing further to add. My request for a service call under warranty was denied since I got a message saying that they would handle it and contact me afterward. I contacted the company a week later, but found no record of a service call being made. I spoke with four more techs during the following week, each of whom said they would take care of the problem but Then, once I had found the problem myself, I contacted the hotline and asked them to send the part, at my expense, to get it fixed on my own. The part is currently on order and fingers crossed it will arrive. So your stuck with the warranty since it's not like this is a simple blouse that you can return. The best thing to do is buy locally as you can install your softener in person in case of an issue. In addition, there was never a supervisor to talk to and no call backs were ever made.
It took me less than 10 minutes to install. Using a hose taken from Lowe's that was made specifically for water softeners (no one at Home Depot or Lowe's knew of this) I got it installed in less than 10 minutes. As an added bonus, Lowe's offers the sanitizer, which Whirlpool will extend your warranty if you buy 3 bottles. You can get it for a lot less money at Lowe's. The water in this area is incredibly soft. Our family of four can easily fit inside and we have more than enough space.
As far as Whirlpool products go, this is not my first purchase. The washers, dryers, and all kitchen appliances were working fine but I should have looked for the PEX fittings first. Due to their design, the bypass valve is made with 1" fittings, but I could not locate a 1" to 3/4" PEX fitting. Almost all PEX fittings have an inside diameter of 1/2 and 3/4 inches. This makes absolutely no sense to have a 1' fitting right at the beginning. It took me about a half hour to get this going, so I started with a Schedule 40 1" tube, glued in a threaded step down to 3/4" tube, and added a brass elbow fitted A line of something that would work was found in 3 different stores. I plumbed the old softener in about 10 minutes after just one trip to the hardware store since it had a Female 3/4" fitting. The two hours I spent running around trying to get something done turned out to be a waste. The smaller footprint is a nice feature for me, other than having an older machine that's 15 years old. In the meantime, I could have just replaced the control head for $200 but this one is more efficient and I'll see how it holds up after a few months. How many salt bags I use will depend on how quickly I consume them. Taste is similar, it's well water which I grew up on, so it doesn't make a difference to me. My wife, however, was always given city water, so she is picky we are the same. I had to recharge it once to get the smell out.
Over the past 11 years, I've had the same Whirlpool model that's been reliable and reliable. After getting an estimate for a different brand, it was almost three times the cost, so I opted to buy it instead. My friend and I installed it in just over an hour, and since the design is the same as my first, I expect it to last for a long time. I found it to be of great value, easy to install, and does the job It's a wonderful book that I recommend.
