This is an absolute must for every RV'er

are looking to purchase anything for your RV, this should be the first thing you consider. We became full time campers As I was living in Nevada during the winter, I bought this in November. As a result of freezing concerns, I failed to set it up. As a result of buying a new 5rh wheel in April, I noticed deposits on the kitchen faucet sprayer and hard water streaks on the shower window a few months later. After I set up the softener, I was amazed at the fact that the clothes come out of the washer cleaner, no marks appear on the shower glass, and the faucets no longer have residue. We notice noticeable improvement in the quality of ice in my beverage and softer skin as well. There is no doubt that all the plumbing appliances and associated appliances will last for a long time. As a way to protect the softener from freezing, I put a plastic garbage can over it and then put a light inside it. According to the water test strips that came with the package, the hardness was 480 ppm prior to installation and less than 40 afterward.

Too long ago I did not do the regeneration
4/5

The first reboot worked great but then the first regenerative restart failed. Once soft water is gone, it will never be recovered. In our RV park, the water is extremely hard, so by following the instructions, when the test strip indicated that it was time to regen, I did a backflush before a regen with two salt boxes. I waited too long to do the regen and tested it again, and then the test strip indicated the water was still hard. I contacted them and they told me the delay was due to the water being too hard. In order to get the unit functioning again, I was instructed how to proceed. As soon as I perform a super regen, I'll update this.

I am happy I went with the bigger unit seeing as it only increased the diameter by a small amount
5/5

The RV version of this is a bit bigger than you might expect, but the size works fine for us. In addition, we had extremely hard water, which has now reduced to essentially zero p. p. m. There may be some inaccuracies in the capacity ratings. Despite the fact that it has twice the capacity of the smaller version, it is not rated at twice the gallon capacity. I am happy I went with the bigger unit seeing as it only increased the diameter by a small amount. Getting one of these will be a wise decision if you camp for extended periods of time. It is best to choose the smaller unit if you work or play during the week as it recharges faster (less flushing time). This purchase has been very satisfying for me. It is now possible for me to drink the tap water, and no more white deposits appear on pots and pans.

Congratulations - I'm very glad you liked it! So far, so good! Last week I received this softener and installed it
4/5

As soon as you realize the setup instructions are the same for all models, setting up is easy. This assembly manual addresses the installation of the Standard unit (the Park or Double units are also available). In retrospect, after reading some other reviews that addressed the instructions, my initial apprehension with the instructions was somewhat off set. With that knowledge in hand, I moved forward with the installation and did fine. *I tested the water supplied by the RV park (with the test strips supplied) before turning on the softener. The hardness at this RV park in Montana Once this system is installed and flushed for 5 minutes, a retest of the hardness of the water coming into the RV shows practically zero. A bit lighter than the lowest color on the bottle of test strips provided, the test strip color resembled the lowest comparison color.
Is there any way you can Considering that I still have excellent water pressure (and use an old 'in-line' A blue RV filter on the line). I would recommend you give it a try. A negative? Maybe a Describe the weight. With the rope handle included, the unit is easy for me to move even when I am over 70. It may be better for you to try the 8,000 grain unit if lifting or weight are issues for you. It's up to you.

You won't be disappointed with this RV softener! According to the test strips, your urine is very hard

My RV water lines were then allowed to run for a few minutes with the filtered water. I followed the directions to the letter. To take the second sample, I used the same class and faucet as the first. When the test strip reached the lightest shade, it showed a "soft" result. Comparing two glasses of water with one being filtered before and the other being filtered after showed that filtered water was noticeably Despite the difference in odor, there is still a difference. Water that has been filtered smells clean, while water that has not been filtered has a strong odor of iron. Even while they were young (7 and 10 years old), my daughters were able to clearly distinguish them. I am very happy with it so far.

I have gotten rid of 100% of my hard water
5/5

During the construction of our house, we are living in our trailer and have a well. The hair on my head has been falling out a lot since we moved into our RV a year ago. In the end, I had so much hair that it broke off to about the middle of my cheeks! In talking with her neighbor, she told me the same thing happened to her until she obtained We had a professional test done on our water, and it was as hard as it could be. There was no residue left behind after this filter was applied. We don't have hard water based on our water test results. In neither the sinks nor the showers are any water spots present. I feel like my skin and head are no longer itchy, I no longer have dry skin, and my hair is no longer brittle and frizzy. It also isn't breaking while I comb my hair. The filter we bought has made my hair grow again, so I can't wait for that to happen. I'm forever grateful for it. As long as I stay.

I love how it works! Whenever I made a large purchase, I researched and classified all kinds of water softeners that could easily be used in an RV
5/5

Considering how easy it is to set up and seem to be very easy to recharge, this seems like a great device. Getting a device set up and cleaning is the most time consuming aspect of using modern devices. Our entire living arrangements are in RV parks, and therefore, water stains and rust are routinely a part of our lives. It was necessary for us to remove stains from sinks, toilets, and showers. I instantly noticed a difference in my quality of life after installing the first two showers. The feeling of sliminess was mentioned by my husband. -( He said the same thing when we installed one in our condo. His elbows and knees no longer felt dry so he knows it's working. The second time I took a shower, the shampoo and conditioner felt like finally they were doing their job. It felt as though all the soap washed off and left me feeling moist. My hair is finally no longer dry, I can tell you that. My natural curls are so flexible that I can comb them without yanking any out of them! As a result, I am very pleased with this softener at this point.

I like it a lot! This is awesome! We bought this to use in our RV park in Florida during the winter
5/5

Here in southern California, the water is very hard, so I thought this would be worth a shot. Well, I've installed it and I'm impressed with how it works! The hardness of our water was 180 when we first tested it and is still zero (0) three weeks later. Our motorhome is our home away from home for the two of us. We shower, do dishes, drink as much water as we like, and the soap, shampoo, and dish detergent lather up like crazy in its wake! The purchase was a great success. This machine is already well past the 40-day period before it needs to regenerate. For the one in the advertisement, it should take around 30 days to regenerate before it needs to.
