Aquasure Harmony Series Whole House Water Softener with High Efficiency Digital Metered Control Head (32,000 Grains)

My own business owner background makes me reluctant to write this review, but I have given Aquasure several opportunities to fix my issues in which they have failed to do so. You should not do business with Aquasure because the company is NOT honest, trustworthy, or reliable. Instead of going through the headaches of working with this company, choose another one. Prior to purchasing the system, I spoke with Allen multiple times about the features I wanted and which system I needed to buy. For instance, I provided Allen with all the information about the water in my home, such as the hardness level (330 ppm) and the level 6 parts per million) that the water company uses to treat the water, the number of bathrooms on my premises (3), and the number of people living in my house In accordance with aquasure user manual, the highest tolerance level for chloramine is 2 ppm. This water contains almost twice the maximum level of chloramine that my system permits. After I provided Allen with more information about my home, he informed me that the 48,100 grain system would work best for me. As well, he recommended I purchase a "High Flow Whole House Water Filter" from Aquasure. When I obtained both of the recommended items, I decided to get a second opinion from another company. When I did some research of my own, I realized I made a terrible mistake by listening to Allen (I thought he was an Allen was completely wrong when he told me that bigger is better which is why he recommended an 80, 000 grain system instead of a 32,000 grain system which is what I I also found out that the filter he recommended was not designed to purify chloramine out of water. Long story short, Allen sold me a system that would probably have self-destructed by the time I had done my research. If water contains more than one part per million of chloramine In a water softener, if there is zero parts per million of chloramine, the resin beads are oxidized. As a result of this oxidation, your resin will lose its softening ability and fall into a much shorter life cycle. My resolve for aquasure was to return the system as quickly as possible so I could purchase the correct system I needed, which happened to be an additional $700. For me to return everything, it cost me $120. I then find out aquasure will charge me a 20% restocking fee for returning the product. You would be better off staying away from this company, as they are not a customer friendly business. You will not be able to reach them once they have taken your money.

In our vacation rental, we installed it in our 2nd story garage. It worked fine during the test. I cannot believe what a mess this is. ***So here's what's wrong with the unit, the drain hose has a reducer on one end, and when pressure builds, it can break off and spray gallons of water all over. it triggers the GFI it will just keep dumping hundreds of gallons of water into your house. If it does not trigger the GFI it will just keep on releasing water.
