The water smell was intense, and we were ready to move out of the house thinking something was incorrectly installed in the plumbing since we never had any previous experience with softening or filtering water. When we called a plumber and a water provider, both pointed to Thus, our installer removed a 5 micron filter that was a part of the pre-filter The filter on the softener is part of the whole-home filter. A good old fashioned holly moly! Even though the water pressure was great without filters, I knew it would be even better if I used another due to the iron buildup. It was decided to use this filter at 25 microns, which kept the water pressure constant. By three days, the orange had already begun to appear. At one and a half months, it has been quite effective in my household, but I do not think it will last six months like the manufacturer recommends.

I do not notice any difference in my water pressure with this Having a white color, it indicates what contaminants are present in the water. Water that is safe to drink is blocked by the filter.
