The first one had a difficult life due to hard water, dog abuse, rocks, and ceramic dishes under plants, as well as being cleaned with a pumice stone. After 22 years of use, the sink had to be replaced due to cosmetic issues. I'll mount it on a stand and use it in the garden to clean off the mud before bringing the vegetables in. Because there are no pre-drilled holes, plan ahead. The holes could be drilled in nice centered recesses. I used plumbers putty instead of silicone sealer in case it needed to be removed at a later date. Rolling out long tubes of putty to put around the tub's edge on the cabinet counter top was a pain, but putty is far easier to clean up than silicone!.
For the price, this sink is of excellent quality; the same sink is available at Lowes for $50 and at HD for $50. 00 more. The instructions are excellent, and the installation is straightforward. The plastic has a nice sheen to it because it is coated, and it will be easy to clean and maintain. The heavy-duty sink faucet in the photo was also purchased on Amazon and works perfectly. This is a product that I would strongly recommend to any homeowner.
The bottom of the sink has guides for cutting faucet holes in standard positions, which was a relief after receiving three cracked sinks in a row from another brand. I'm using it as a utility sink in a basement, but it has a nicer appearance than a basic utilitarian sink, and it would look great in a nicer laundry room or studio.
My cellar laundry room is currently undergoing renovations. This sink will take the place of a 95-year-old sink. year- The finish on this new sink is high gloss and very smooth, unlike the old cast iron double bowl sink that was installed when my house was built. It should be extremely simple to maintain. It's also thick and durable enough to last a long time. I'm glad I purchased this sink for my project, and I would recommend it to anyone.
We bought this for our brand new house's mud room, but it cracked when it was installed. It doesn't cause any issues, but given that our house is brand new and we've already had so many other things go wrong, a crack in the sink has now been added to our list of problems. It was installed by professionals, who also installed our farmhouse sink, so we're confident they knew what they were doing.
The sink is a medium-sized one. It was light in weight and simple to put together. I'd probably buy it for a kitchen or bathroom sink, but it's in the laundry for us, and we expect to abuse it (washing our dogs and muddy things), so it'll be simple and inexpensive to replace.
Utility sink with a deep depth and a lot of capacity. In the laundry room, it works great. No template for cutting out the hole is included - It would have been nice if they had included a cardboard one.
I have the same sink and have beaten it up ten times over. It consumes all of your resources. I needed another to install before we put the house on the market because there was so much paint left over from cleaning brushes. I bought one when it was on sale.
