After processing my wife's warranty claim, Kraus customer service contacted her and resolved the problem the next day! A box containing replacement sound proofing material arrived the next day after I received an email response. Kraus, keep up the good work! The sound deadening material on the bottom of the sink, on the other hand, was loose when it arrived and has now completely unglued after professional installation. My wife contacted Kraus customer service, who advised her to "Gorilla glue" the material back in place. What do you mean? I just spent $300 on a new sink, and Kraus thinks it's reasonable to expect the customer to go out and buy some glue to fix their shoddy sound deadening pad. I'm not impressed in the least.

I've had good luck with Kraus sinks in the past, so I had high expectations for this one. There's no going back once you install an undermount sink, as you probably already know! The lack of a protective grate is a snub, in my opinion. As a result, I needed to place a separate order for that. (This significantly increased the cost. ) It's now a lovely sink, but the design makes it impossible to clean it without removing the grate. This is excruciatingly inconvenient. I had the impression (incorrectly) that the DEX line had been treated in some way to make it spotless. free. Nope. Furthermore, I made use of a non-alcoholic beverage. I used a scratch scrubber on the sink, and while it didn't actually "scratch," there is now an area that is a little shinier than the rest. Bad scrubber or bad stainless steel? Not sure. In any case, it's functional, but it's not the most practical sink I have. Having a clean sink is important to me. Maybe this is the sink for you if all those little bits of food in the sink don't bother you (like they don't bother my husband).

I already had a double bowl sink from Kindred (Franke) that was probably 15 years old. My countertop is quartz, so the idea of cutting it in half is out of the question. I didn't like the location. This is one of only a few 32" sinks that are 31 1/8" deep. I looked for a sink that would fit in the space and not look completely out of place for weeks. The product is of good quality, and installation was simple. I didn't bother cutting the countertop and think it turned out fine; however, it states that a minimum cabinet size of 36" is required - I don't believe this is the case. This is simply not the case. My cabinet is 35" wide, and it fit perfectly. Even if you wipe it down, the finish tends to stain, but it's a sink, so who cares? I'm very pleased with it overall.

The sink itself is fine, but the decorative drain cover set it apart from other brands. Regrettably, that section does not stand up to scrutiny. After a year with the sink, I've gone through two drain covers and now don't use one at all. The issue is that the screw-driver is missing. in feet. They keep falling off and getting thrown away. Because they are metal, they have wreaked havoc on the disposal system. I even used silicone sealant on the feet of the second cover. This time, one of them simply snapped. The concept of the design is good, but the execution is lacking.

I like how this looks in the sink, and it protects my sink from scratches. Cleaning is a breeze, and I paired it with a dish drainer that saves counter space while still performing admirably. I also appreciate how functional my sink is, as I can fit a drainboard in there while still having enough room to wash dirty dishes or fill a pot. When I put everything together, including the faucet and sponge holder, it looks like a professional sink setup. Although I am not a professional, I enjoy the fact that when people see the setup, they assume it was created by one. I can now put a hot pan in the sink instead of on top of my stove, allowing me to clean my counters and cooktop without having to wait for the pan to cool. Yes, it appeals to me.

Nice sink, though it appears to "spot" more easily than a similar sink we purchased from a different manufacturer. My only gripe is that the drain cover's "feet" easily unscrew and disappear down the garbage disposal. I used a thread locker on them in the hopes of resolving the issue. Again, a similar sink we purchased from a different brand has the "feet" built into the drain cover (so they don't come loose), which appears to be a better design.

We're in the process of renovating our house. The Kraus Dex Double Bowl Sink, undermounted to our new granite countertops, was the sink of choice for the kitchen remodel. Not only does the sink look great (we get a lot of compliments on it, for example. . ), but it also functions beautifully. It's also high-tech ("hey, come check out this sink"). Kraus has designed a sink that not only looks good, but also muffles garbage disposal noise, prevents odors from entering the drain, and conceals unsightly drain holes while still allowing water to drain. Kraus gave the stainless steel a great finish, and sound deadening material covers the entire underside of the sink, making it extremely quiet. br>br>My only disappointment is that it did not come with the protective stainless steel grids that are standard on most Kraus sinks. They included a Kraus Silicone Kichen Trivet and a Kraus Silicone Kichen Glove, which we really like. Kraus, I appreciate your help. br>br>Shipping was extremely fast! br>br>We are very pleased with our Kraus Dex Sink!.

This is a well-made sink that is well-designed. After looking at several large home improvement stores and other options available on Amazon, we decided this was the best undermount sink we could find. The bottom is slightly slanted to ensure that most, if not all, of the water drains into the sink trap, which is partially covered. They've added insulation to the underside of the sink, which helps to retain heat while also acting as a sound deadener when placing or cleaning dishes. This is a thoughtful addition.
