Yes, my small bowl is on the right side of the sink, and I adore it. The small side isn't as deep as the large side, but the large side is plenty deep for large pots. 16 gauge is one of the best; it's brushed steel, so it's not as shiny as chrome, but it's still very appealing.br>My faucet matches the sink.
Hi R. Kitchen sinks from Newt, Kraus are made of the highest quality 16 gauge, T-304 stainless steel. Material made of 304 stainless steel with an 18:1 chromium-nickel ratio. The majority of manufacturers use the standard of 18:10. br>Thank you very much.
Even though that side of the sink is deeper than the other, it should be sufficient. Depending on your disposal and plumbing setup, it will be near the bottom of the cabinet. We didn't put in a disposal, so this is just a guess. It's a beautiful sink.
The sink drains quickly and efficiently. The bottom is flat, so you may need to flush food items down the drain for the garbage disposal, but there will be no water left in the sink. This sink is fantastic in every way!

I'm not sure why my original review was not published on Amazon. br>I strongly advise against purchasing the scratch-resistant version. I just finished installing it in my newly remodeled kitchen, which includes a brand new quartz countertop. br>I couldn't see the sink before it was installed, or else I wouldn't have used it. Even when it's brand new out of the box, the embossed surface isn't appealing. br>On the second day after installation, there were watermarks and rust-like discoloration spots. br>It's day 5, and the spots are multiplying and darkening. br>When I called Kraus USA, they said it wasn't rust and that it could be removed with the help of a bartender's friend, and that it was a problem with their customers. A brand new 16 gauge stainless sink should not discolor in any way, according to my opinion. br>I haven't tried it yet, but I'm hoping it can be removed. br>However, even if there are no rusty spots, the embossed surface prevents water from draining properly, so watermarks will always be present unless you dry your sink after each use. I suppose instead of scratches, you get watermarks and discoloration. br>**Please note that the sides of the sinks in the photos are completely dry and do not contain any water. All of the images have watermarks on them.
Before buying this new sink, I did a great deal of research. My fabricator offered me one of their own stainless steel sinks, which would have been at least a hundred dollars less, but I wanted something unique to me. So, after reading hundreds of reviews on various sinks, I decided to go with this one, and I'm glad I did. The scratch-resistant finish was our choice. You can see why if you're a parent. So far, everything has gone well. The installation went smoothly, and the inserts have proven to be effective in preventing scratching. It has a fantastic finish and a great appearance. Despite the fact that this sink is deep, I chose a taller faucet to accommodate my large pots. I also like to stack pots in the sink before loading them into the dishwasher. So far, no rusting has occurred, but I will keep you updated if this occurs. If you're like me and have a lot of dishes, this is a great option. I'm also glad I chose the 60/40 ratio rather than the 50/50. We also installed a brand new garbage disposal beneath it on the right smaller side, and everything is working fine so far. br>br>I've attached a photo, but I'm not sure if you can see the finish on the inside, which looks fantastic with the Giallo Fiorito granite we ultimately chose.
The remedy has been added. It appears to be of good quality, is simple to assemble, and includes all necessary accessories. However, after the first use, there were rust marks all over the place! I suppose I'll have to live with it because it's an undermount sink that's cut into the granite counter top. br>br>Changed to a four-star rating - I read an article on BarKeeprsFriend about how to remove rust from a stainless steel sink, followed the instructions, and the sink is now in good condition. I'll keep an eye on it; the rust hasn't returned, so it's possible that it's just particles from the initial installation that have settled in the tank. Watermarks are removed as well with this product.
We recently updated our kitchen and needed an undermount sink to match our new granite countertops; the Kraus Sink far exceeded our expectations. br>br>Advantagesbr>- The product arrived in excellent condition. Individual boxes held all of the extra pieces, and plenty of styrofoam was used to keep the sink from being damaged. The sink is packaged in a plastic bag with a lovely fabric cover. Scratches are not a possibility.
- A beautiful full-length piece. There was also a color brochure that showed all of the other sink styles and accessories available. We are currently constructing a new home. I really like the brochure because I'm going to buy a Kraus sink. Faucets and soap dispensers are included in some of the sets.
- Hand towels, bottom grids with protective feet, and bumpers are included with every Krouse sink.
- Extra bumpers and stainers are included in case you lose a couple. br> Stainless steel is 6 gauge thick. The metal is thicker if the gauge is lower.
- Sides and bottoms have sound dampenersbr>- For ease of use, a template is included.
- Strainer basket, yay! This is a fantastic addition. You can keep the basket in one of the strainers that is really deep so that when all those gross bits of food get caught in it, you don't have to push your hand down and pull the food out- You can simply pull the basket up by its handle and throw it away.

A garbage disposal gasket is not included in any sink. That is something you will have to purchase separately. br>br>I don't have any long-term plans. information on the term I'm hoping it holds up, but if it doesn't, I'll have to change my opinion.

I ordered this sink as part of our kitchen remodel, believing that I would be getting a high-quality product at a low price; I was mostly correct. The sink, as well as the accessories, are of extremely high quality heavy gauge: Both sinks have grid tray bottoms, and one side has a removable drain basket (recommend non-electric). For a stainless steel sink (even with a Kraus towel), there is excellent sound suppression. The shipping packaging was the most serious issue. The first sink was delivered in the Kraus cloth protective bag that was included with the purchase - no box. The sink had been ruined and was no longer functional. Moreover, only about half of the accessories were delivered. After contacting Amazon, a second sink was sent to me. I was supposed to put the first one in the second box and put the second one in the first box. The second box was also in bad shape, but everything arrived in one piece, so I had to reassemble the box to return the first sink. We had to put construction on hold while waiting for the second sink to arrive, but we are very pleased with the sink's quality. Kraus, on the other hand, needs to reconsider their shipping packaging. Amazon has a lot to teach us. Pieces glued together with supports at the corners are far inferior to continuous cardboard boxing. Kraus is a high-quality brand - Regrettably, getting a good shipment took two tries.
