We took our original plastic RV sink away to be replaced with this replacement sink, but on our first trip we did what we normally do when traveling, and we filled the sink with items. I use simple plastic dishes soap containers and plastic plates to make my dinner without using sharp knives or metal. As a result of the rubbing on the sink, the coating began to wear away. It's a bit of a bummer having the marks appear as soon as it is installed, since this was an error on my end. Please note that if you are using it in an RV, do not place anything in the sink while you are traveling, as the jostling will remove the finish.

My 5th wheel sink was made by Lippert, and I bought this to replace it. Cheap plastics were used on the OEM piece. There is almost no room for improvement when it comes to this piece.
