Grout that hasn't been sanded is the best choice. The glass tiles will be scratched by the sanded.

We were remodeling our kitchen and needed a backsplash that was unique. I ordered just one tile to make sure we liked it as much in person as we did in the photo. We were ecstatic when it showed up. It's lovely, with the perfect amount of bling. To finish the project, we placed a bulk order, but we ran out of pieces and had to purchase five more. We finished the backsplash tile, and it turned out to be absolutely stunning! It looks great with the periwinkle walls and white cabinets. Every time I walk into the kitchen, the gleaming tiles make me smile.
The blue color is exactly as it appears in the photos. This tile is a lovely focal point in our bathroom, and it makes us feel like we're in a spa every time we walk in. We are extremely happy with our tile selection, and as a side note, the first shipment arrived completely crushed. We contacted the seller, and a new shipment was sent out as soon as we did, demonstrating excellent customer service.
However, keep in mind that the colors may differ. I liked the glass tile I received, but as a previous buyer of this type of tile, I noticed that the colors shown in the pictures are not the same as the colors in the actual tile. I'm not sure why this is. Take a picture of an internet image and a picture of the actual Tile you received and compare the two; believe me, there is a difference. Or even better. You should be able to tell the difference between the Tile you received and the advertised internet image. I bought it twice, and each time there was a slight color difference that wasn't as noticeable as the picture on the internet. But, while I was pleased with what I received, I was disappointed that it was not identical to what I had expected. I'm guessing it's because of the lighting in their advertisement. The cost is high, but the item is still lovely. I just wish they'd be more forthright with their photos. They also came at a much lower price. I'm just being honest, and I don't want to offend anyone. It is entirely up to you to make your decision. Best wishes to you.
GIVE IT YOUR ALL! I couldn't find a tile that looked even close to the one I bought locally. It was carefully packaged in styrofoam, and none of the pieces were broken upon arrival. This backsplash has completely transformed my old kitchen, from the color to the bling. ***A word of caution: the shell and metal tiles embedded in the surface have plastic coverings over them (I believe this was done to prevent the individual tiles from scratching the surface). After you've installed them, make sure to peel them off! I didn't realize this until I noticed the protective covering peeling away from the tile; after removing it, you'll notice a nice sheen from the protective covering.
When my sample arrived, I was relieved to discover that the colors were more muted than those depicted in the photo. I'll make an effort to remember to post a photo of the completed project.
This is a lovely tile, but you must be careful when installing it because the diamond glass will shift. Before they dry, make sure they're straight. The silver metal and the seashell portion are both protected by a film. Make sure it's out of the way before you apply it. I would not have known it was there if it hadn't been mentioned in a previous review. The blue is vibrant and true to color. Everyone who sees it says it's unlike anything else they've ever seen. It is one of a kind.
Everyone who has seen it has only had good things to say about it. br>br>The tiles were well packaged and arrived quickly. There are no tiles that have broken.
The tile is lovely, but I think it's a little too glitzy for my kitchen. It has squares that are mirror-backed, beveled, and sparkly (think disco ball), which isn't exactly what I was looking for. Otherwise, it's lovely; it's just not my style, which is why I gave it four stars.
