This seemed like a good idea because it would save me both time and money. It didnt. br>br>I followed all instructions and made sure my wall was clean and dry before starting. There is no dust on the wall, and the surface is completely flat. It started out well, with no major issues with the tiles adhering to the wall. When I awoke the next morning, a couple tiles were slowly peeling away, so I used gorilla glue to keep them in place. br>br>When I returned the next day, there were four more tiles on my counter. I guess I'll have to go out and get some more glue.
The tiles were simple to set up. Because my wall has some texture, I chose to use adhesive. The tiles were trimmed using a tile cutter. Only when the cut was extremely thin did I experience any breakage. I would strongly suggest it. It was a very simple one-day project that brightened up my kitchen.
In my kitchen, I used them for the backsplash. They're lovely, and they're simple to put together. With a manual tile cutter, making straight cuts was simple. I had some trouble cutting holes for outlets, and the glass cracked easily, but this was my first time working with tiles and it was a do-it-yourself project.
They're very sticky, so they stay put, and they make it look like we hired a professional tiler.
"Peel and stick" is exactly what they mean! The glue had a lot of tenacity to it! br>I'd like to see more colors and sizes available in this product because it was so simple to use on large areas that didn't require much cutting.
Because cutting the glass tiles in my small kitchen was difficult, I hired someone to install them. I like the look and the fact that there isn't any grout. On the back, I used an adhesive over the glue.
It's a lot less work than grouting!.
So it was a success at first, but then it turned into a disaster. Taking them off after they've been stuck causes significant damage to the wall. I didn't like the way they looked, so my husband came to my rescue and we went to Home Depot! I wanted to go back, but the backs had been peeled off and the paint and wall had adhered to them. It's a bummer because I squandered a lot of money.
