Questions & Answers

Is using bleach in this container a good idea?

No, the original Joseph and Joseph product page specifies that "harsh cleaners such as bleach" should be avoided.

In terms of leaks, how dependable is the drain? I'm looking for a second sink that can be placed on my counter. ?

It's extremely dependable; I use it on a daily basis and have had no issues with it in the six months since I purchased it. If you don't want to be concerned, I recommend putting a drain board underneath it.

One picture shows the "grey" one as black, while another shows it as a dark navy blue. Is it meant to be a light gray or a charcoal gray? Is it perplexing?

This is the one I have, and it's a dark charcoal gray. It's a soft black to some, but it's not a true black to others. I definitely think it's a shade of gray.

Why is there no mention of the capacity in gallons up front or anywhere in the question? What is the capacity in gallons or quarts?

Although the dimensions of the bowl are included, H20 x W31 x D31cm, we apologize that the capacity of this tub is not included in a manufacturer description for this product; however, the dimensions of the bowl are included, H20 x W31 x D31cm, indicating that it could hold around 8 Litres.

After a few months, it began to leak
3/5

It's already leaking from the bottom drain after only four months of gentle use. I've looked after it well and only wash the basin by hand. I'm very disappointed in you. br>br>I've reached out to the manufacturer and am awaiting a response. br>br>10/22: br>br>10/22: br>br>10/22: When I contacted customer service, they requested that I send them an email to discuss the issue and provide photos. I followed through on my promise. Since the beginning of October, I've sent numerous emails. The company has not responded. They don't back up their claims. Customer service was helpful over the phone, but they do not respond to emails. br>br>I received a replacement after they claimed my item was defective. They sent me a replacement, which I appreciate. br>br>In less than two weeks, the replacement sprung a leak. I won't be buying anything else.

It conserves a significant amount of water
5/5

This tub is ideal for conserving water. We were wasting a lot of water by washing each dish under running water because our garbage disposal was located where we'd normally wash dishes - Rather than filling up our teeny-tiny right-hand space, tub with a hand sink (On the left-hand side- We use the hand sink to drain dishes because it is larger. ) The kitchen is TINY! We needed a container that could hold water while also allowing us to throw things away. We had just enough room in this tub to do so. We were able to lift it at times because of the sturdy handles - Including water, dishes, and other necessities - We were dumping a lot of garbage on the counter. I went out and bought a second one - To save water, this is an excellent foot bath. I sit on the tub's side and place a small shower mat underneath it to keep from slipping into the tub. When I'm not bathing, I can easily wash my feet in this small tub instead of filling up a tub. br>br>I was surprised and delighted to discover that our 12" T-shirt could be washed in the dishwasher. It was a breeze to use the fal frying pan. Because of the tub's depth, a large number of dinner plates, bowls, and other items could be soaked at the same time. The well-known icing on the cake is the well-known icing on the cake. On the bottom, a drain was built. WAY BETTER THAN STORE-BUILT DISHTUBS - There are no handles, the depth is too low, and there is no drainage. (When my son saw me using it to wash dishes, he inquired as to where I purchased it - He's now looking for one for his own home.

Aids in the reduction of water consumption in drought-stricken California
4/5

One is white, and the other is green. When I'm not using them, they stack neatly under my sink. My sink can accommodate both of them. br>br>I'm on a water rationing plan. These are what I use to wash dishes by hand while conserving water. First and foremost, because they are smaller than my sink, I don't require as much water to reach any depth. Second, I fill the rinse bucket with hot water until it is hot enough to wash the dishes. Then there's the rinsing bucket, which is already half-filled with water. Third, I can use the rinse bucket to water my roses in my garden. br>br>I've also defrosted frozen meat with these. Watertightness is a measure of how well something is sealed. Wrap frozen meat in a heavier dish and cover with cold water to keep it from thawing. Again, this uses less water than doing it in the sink, and the water can be reused. Another way to save water is to: br>br> Fill a bucket halfway with hot water before starting the dishwasher. Put the water you've saved to good use. It will now take less energy for the dishwasher to heat the water to the proper temperature for dishwashing. br>br>OK, that's enough hippie-ism for now. granola- loving- The Golden State – That's all I have for now. Later, I'm going to hug a tree. br>br>It's also convenient that you can soak dishes without having to use the sink. Simply lift it out of the sink and place it on the counter. br>br>The drain feature is useful for removing larger items while draining. Part of the drain plug has chipped off on my white bucket (which has a green drain plug), but it still works and holds water. I don't recall seeing this when I got the item, and I certainly don't recall breaking it. I'm a little disappointed, but as I previously stated, it still holds up. br>br>I wish these could be washed in the dishwasher (even on the top shelf). Then, when it gets greasy (as it does when my husband uses it to clean the deep-frying pan), (See, we don't just like granola; we like all foods equally (not true). ) fryer basket )) Instead of washing it by hand, I could put it in the dishwasher.

Dish Tub is good, but it could be better
4/5

For the past ten months, I've been using this dish tub. Soon after we installed a large granite/resin single-level kitchen, I purchased it. hole sink in the kitchen, and it was later discovered that the10. I couldn't go deeper than an inch. My elbows and back hurt because of it. preventing you from reaching down So the main reason I bought this dish tub was because the feet on the bottom allow me to wash dishes at a more comfortable height. br>br>In general, it appeals to me. The handles are useful, and it is sturdy and attractive, but the drain is unnecessary for those of us who rinse our dishes before washing them. Picking up the tub and emptying it is simple. The drain is a source of irritation for me. It's in the way, and every now and then I accidentally open it and let water out when I don't want to. I'd really like to see a version of this dish tub without a drain. br>br> The bottom is another area that could use some improvement. I've noticed a pattern in my sink where the feet rest while I'm doing the dishes. It would be preferable to have a non-alcoholic beverage. abrasive pad on the bottoms of the feet of some kind.
