We recently purchased a home that included two Eljer toilets from the year 1965. I was going to replace them but decided to try replacing the guts first, and I'm glad I did because it works great and no longer flushes "phantom. " Because it was difficult to find information on parts or even pictures, I decided to write a review for anyone else in my situation.
It fit perfectly and came in handy when the tank ball in a 60-year-old American Standard tank fell apart. Just so you know, the Toilet Tank Ball I received is red. It's not a big deal for me because I'm more concerned with the tank's internal decor than with its functionality. In the end, it's a success!.
No leaks. There is no need to rush. It has already paid for itself in the form of a reduced water bill.
The toilet is a Trylon, and the threads and size allowed for the original eye wire to be used.
It was an excellent solution. br>Fast delivery.
My brass Douglas flush valve was not sealed by this.
I couldn't find it in any of the big box stores or hardware stores.
