Water is running out of the commode on an American Standard Cadet 3
5/5

The commode that I use is an American Standard Cadet 3. In the past month or so, the toilet has been losing water slowly There will be a slight drop in water level and then it will be refilled. The fact that there was no water on the floor led me to believe it was probably the seal on the flush valve. It was not possible to find the right parts at Home Depot or Lowe's. Luckily, I was able to find the necessary flush valve assembly on Amazon. The tank must be taken off to replace the flush valve, so I also had to purchase a coupling kit for the tank and bowl. Itemized lists*.

This is a replacement part for The 0070A file
5/5

Standard 6Lpf/1 of the American Association. Several of the old ones were swollen, gummy, and deteriorating. Neither of the "universal" kits had bolt seals, so I could not find replacement parts locally. - This is a perfect replacement kit for our #241 kit for your toilet. The part number is 738756. As far as I can tell, I received a green gasket. It fits perfectly, and the nut tightener tool is very useful for tightening nuts. Don't be concerned if the dimensions seem slightly different from the old one, the new one fits perfectly. The plastic ones are much less durable. *See the photos for a comparison of old and new parts. BTW, if you need silicone, then you're doing it wrong!.

I was not happy with the product when I bought it now I'm happy I bought it
4/5

As a result, I had to make use of
1)The metal tool pictured was replaced with a plastic tool of inferior quality (I purchased this kit specifically for it). 2) The baggie with the small pieces was opened and a huge 2-inch piece of plastic fell out this was brand new when it was bought. A tear in the clear plastic bag measures one inch in diameter. NOTE INTRODUCTION Thanks to my purchase, I have access to In a day or two, the sponge gasket from the Korky 3 blew It took multiple attempts to seal the tank with a replacement flush valve (1 inch). The first time I tried this one, it did perfectly. Please note The OE part number is 426003. Replaced the original Mansfield flush valve on an American Standard toilet, model 4260 (for a tank with a 3-inch diameter). From 75 to An opening with a diameter of 1/4 inch.

The following are examples of leaks A bolt on one of the two is leaking, but the rest of the installation went smoothly
3/5

My American Standard 4266 Champion 4 toilet now has a new flush valve, which I ordered and installed recently. During the process of replacing the flush valve, I decided to go ahead and replace the gasket in the Tank to Bowl also. It took me about an hour to install the tank to bowl coupling kit on Sunday morning and I got to test flush it a couple of times. It occurred to me that the new flush valve sits higher in the tank than the old one did, so the flush is Later that night, however, my downstairs neighbor knocked on my door saying that the paint on her bathroom ceiling was damaged and the ceiling was wet. It was true that my toilet had a small puddle of water around it! The water ran off all over the floor and I dried it all up. I inspected the toilet closely and found a slow leak coming from the right bolt of the bolt connection between the tank and It appears that the bolt seal gasket did not seal fully when I installed it and it is leaking about two A towel was positioned beneath it, and I placed a bowl on top of the towel to catch leaks. As a temporary solution, I have ordered some "Water Weld" sealant which should arrive tomorrow, and I think this might help. It would be wonderful if Amazon or American Standard could send me some replacement gasket seals for the bolts, so I won't need to buy I have tested this tank to bowl coupling seal, and the other gasket seal on the other bolt, and they seem to work fine. I will update this review as soon as I have been able to resolve the problem.

A new flush valve with a flapper is required for your new flush valve
5/5

American Standard 7301021- This is the part being reviewed. $15 for the 0070A Tank to Bowl Connector Kit. There are new tank bolts, grommets, nuts, a huge new sealing gasket, and the plastic installation tool in this kit. This makes the whole thing work out. For replacing the flush valve for my AM, I read reviews and found some very good information. This is standard. In the bathroom. For flush valves with 6 inch long filler tubes on the 4019 tank, this part is suitable. The 0070A file. This makes the whole thing work out.
