You can fill the overflow very deep, since it sits at the very top of the tub. There is an overflow of 21". I don't think you can beat the price for this to the best bath I've ever used. It was a bit of an undertaking to install this tub, however, since it is so tall. When you secure the drain to the tub you will need another person to help you No way would one person be able to do it alone. If you order this tub's drain kit, make sure it's the right one. It is not possible to use an off-the-shelf kit for this one you have to use the manufacturer's kit. In general, this purchase has been a very positive experience for us.
The length and depth are not an issue, and it is extremely comfortable to lay on. Five feet five inches is my height.
