I purchased this shower filter to replace one that I had been using from a different brand. I was very pleased with the quality of both the housing and the filter. The moment we saw it, we were immediately captivated. Not a single itch could be felt on our skin. As a consequence, we no longer were burned by chlorine in the shower. The dandruff was gone. I can just feel the difference in the water! My wife and I ordered a replacement filter when we noticed that ours had reached the end of its useful life after about 6 months. We received it promptly, but it looked like it had been opened already, Replacing it was a piece of cake it was perfect. When I installed it, my wife was prone to breaking out in what looked like unstoppable acne soon after. It is strange for her to have acne because she has never had it before. Every little bit of her makeup changed, we changed our diet, we changed our soap. I had such complete faith in the company and their products that I never for a moment suspected it could have been the filter. In the end, I did contact the company and asked what is in the filter media after exhausting everything else I tried.
