It was installed in a 3x4' bathroom to replace a 50-year-old cast iron wall-mounted sink. In other words, it hangs over the toilet, preventing a pedestal from being used. Without the pedestal, the sink has two brackets that mount to the sidewalls, which provide more than enough support (had to do nice plumbing work because it wouldn't be hidden by the pedestal). Over the weekend, I'll send photos (it's at my sister's house).

When I opened my sink today, I discovered that it is a "pedestal sink," not a "wall hung sink," as the Amazon description claimed. For obvious reasons, I didn't request a pedestal. br>br>The product itself is of the high quality that I've come to expect from American Standard, and the instructions are simple and straightforward. It is possible to install a wall, though this is only mentioned in passing. br>br>Because it is replacing an existing wall mount sink, I intend to install it without the pedestal.
The faucet has a four-inch spread and three holes, as shown in the picture. The faucet can only be mounted in one hole in the sink. Although the sink is of good quality, the product description is inadequate.
