Questions & Answers
Visit a hardware store or a plumbing supply store. The one included in this kit isn't very durable. My original was broken during installation, and I'm much happier with the replacement I purchased.
I'm sorry, but I'm unable to assist you with your query. The sinks (we purchased three) were installed by someone else. He didn't say anything about any parts that were missing.
I don't use bleach, so I use 409 and spray nine. It is easy to maintain.

For standard 3/8" connections, the provided hose connections have the incorrect fitting and adapter. During the renovation of our bathrooms, we purchased three of these sinks. They're quite lovely, but there are three flaws that we've managed to overcome: 1. br>br> The drain pipe has a very thin wall thickness. I snapped it the first time I tightened it down to keep the sink from rocking on the countertop, so I had to buy a replacement separately, which appears to be of better quality (though I've only just installed it, so I'm not sure how long it will last). The following is a substitute: Two 1/2" FIP faucet connectors (hose leads) are included with the fixture. A standard vanity in the United States, on the other hand, requires a 3/8" compression connection, according to my experience. Although an adapter is included in the package, it is for a completely different type of connection. In order to complete a typical installation, you'll need two of these 3/8" compression x 1/2" FIP adapters for each sink: The o-shaped silver mounting ring that connects the sink to the countertop included o-shaped o-shaped o-shaped o-shaped o-shaped Rings that are too big or too small. I took a snip of the o- My wife didn't like the look of the ring, so we went with a different oil-based solution. mounting rings made of rubbed bronze, which are of higher quality: The replacement drain came with a rubber washer that goes between it and the sink, but the default included drain didn't seem to include that type of washer, so I used plumbers putty on those two drains.
Everything you'll need to get started is included in the package. Although I did not install it, there were no complaints from the contractor. It's even more beautiful in person than it appears in the photos. The faucet is at a good height above the bowl, and the water flows down the center of the bowl rather than to the back.
The vessel sink is absolutely stunning. The directions are largely ineffective. If you're not sure how to install a vanity sink, look up some videos on YouTube. I have a couple of suggestions. (1. )Do not use the chrome piece that sits on top of the bowl. If you just get an oil-rubbed mounting ring, it will look much better. It was only a few dollars. (2. Use a small bead of silicone where the drain's bottom meets the inside of the bowl when installing the sink drain. Use plumber's putty on the bottom side of the gasket, where it connects to the bottom of the vanity top. I had leaks at first, but after this, everything was fine! The faucet is also of good quality and simple to install. Unlike what some other people have said, it does come with the necessary adapters. I didn't have to go to the store for anything else. It's lovely and goes well with the rest of the decor in the bathroom.
The sinks are my favorite feature. You will need to purchase a water adaptor, which costs about $4. Lowe's is a great place to go if you're looking for something Because the bowl sits on the vessel ring holder, you should put a small amount of plumbers putty where it sits. I needed to repair my drains because they needed to be moved forward, so I purchased a flex drain adaptor for only $6. However, the expense was well worth it. So, it's a little more work, but it's faster than a standard sink. br>UPDATEbr>I've been dealing with this for the past six months. Still as lovely as ever. No issues, and I've dropped things on them and hit them. I've never gotten it to stop swiveling, but that's my fault because I did it myself.
The sink itself is of good quality. The colors are vibrant, the rim is flat, and the polish is nice. br>br>The main thing that bothers me, and it's a big deal for me, is that all of the hardware is made of plastic. The faucet and drain are both plastic, despite the fact that the description says they are rubbed bronze. I'm thinking about returning this because I'm going to have to buy all new hardware anyway. br>br>The product description is deceptive, and the equipment I received was of poor quality.
So we started with the sink, which looked fantastic in the oak cabinet. After that, it's time to turn on the faucet. everything is in place - I'm a licensed plumber, so there's no water. No problem pulling all the water hookups and blowing them out with an air hose. There is no water after I reconnected the faucet. Whether it is hot or cold I purchased a new faucet, and it was fantastic! Because the sink had already been installed and the boxes had been thrown away, I was unable to return the item. If you only need a nice sink, this is not the product for you.
