Questions & Answers
This sink is mine, and while it is shallower than a typical sink, it has a larger diameter and a full oval shape, allowing for more space. When I visit friends' houses, I'm always struck by how small and deep a standard sink is. They don't appeal to me. You'll notice that there's enough space in this sink to wash hands, rinse small objects, wash your face, and brush your teeth without causing a splash. There is no splashing at full blast. We adore this sink, and while I was initially concerned about its shallowness, the price was so low that I decided to take a chance. We've never had a problem, so I'd completely forgotten about that concern. In fact, I prefer this sink to the other bathroom sinks we purchased for a higher price! To make it easier for our younger son to reach the faucet, we mounted it on the left side rather than the back, as is typical. That's how it's done, and it's great.
If your stone or tile is gray, Sea salt is fine; if you want your stone to stand out even more, Dune is a lighter shade. If your stone is brown or reddish, Almond is a good choice, while Biscuit is a lighter shade. I hope this information is useful.

The product itself appears to be in good working order and to be exactly as described. While I appreciate the attention to detail, the packaging was a pain to deal with. It appears that they stacked boxes on top of each other and then sprayed or poured foam in between them. Basically, you must cut your way through the foam and then cut the foam away from the internal box. All of this results in a major shambles. However, no damage was done to the product.
This sink gets a five because it is clearly of higher quality than the cheaper coated steel sinks. Yes, the cast iron is heavy, but it has a lovely deadened-sounding quality to it. When the water hits it, it makes a sound. Unlike cheap sinks, it is not tinny. The glaze is glossy and luxurious, indicating that it is a high-end product. end sink. It's a little on the shallow side, but if you under-estimate your ability to swim, you'll be fine. It becomes a little deeper when you mount it. It's a little heavier as well, but it's not difficult to set up. We looked at a lot of sinks to find the right shape for mounting a side faucet, one that was uniform in shape and depth and didn't have a deep back and shallow front. This one was exactly what I was looking for. It's a refreshingly simple shape with a contemporary twist. I would have preferred a colored sink because I love the sea salt color, but we went with white to match the toilet, which was a bit boring. Kohler cast iron sinks are known to last a lifetime - My parents have had a navy blue cast iron Kohler bath sink for more than 40 years, and it is still in excellent condition. You can't go wrong with this one because the glaze is still good, the color isn't faded, and there are no chips, pits, stains, or rust.
It's both attractive and practical - Excellent value for money.
For my vanity, I wanted a shallow sink. Perfect!.
Unless you plan to submerge your face in water, the depth after it is installed undermount is ideal for most lavatory needs. With a hint of gray, it's bone white.
Great sinks at a fraction of the cost of a typical store.
Getting cast iron sinks for a relatively small price difference was a fantastic choice. These sinks are stunning, and they clearly demonstrate their superior quality.
We bought two of these sinks and had them installed under granite, and we absolutely love them.
