Stopper Plug and Combo
stopper plug and combination
"This package contains one (1) stainless steel sinkshroom ultra, as well as one (1) 1. 1 adapter (25"), 1 adapter (25"), 1 adapter (25"), 1 adapt One (1) stopshroom plug stopper, one (1) 5" large adapter, and one (1) 1" small adapter "This is a truly epic drain protection combo."
Sinkshroom is a drain plug that fits inside the drain rather than over it, collecting hair neatly. When it's time to clean up, all you have to do is wipe down the sinkshroom and you're done! There will be no harsh chemicals used, and there will be no tangled mess.
No more clogged drains: sinkshroom's bathroom sink drain strainer fits any standard sink drain and is designed to effortlessly catch any type of human or pet hair without interrupting the flow of water.
Spend less money and help the environment: a single plumber visit can cost hundreds of dollars. Drain snakes and liquid drain cleaners are inconvenient to use and aren't always effective, not to mention the environmental and pipe damage they cause.
Sinkshroom was named a winner of the 2018 kbb product innovator award in the home and bath category for its award-winning and patented design. The shroom's patented design has now shielded over five million drains.
Our new SinkShroom Ultra easily catches every hair without impeding water flow, is dirt and rust resistant, and fits a wider range of drains, including those without cross bars.
We're so confident that you'll love your new clog-free life with sinkshroom that we'll refund your money if you're not completely satisfied within 60 days. Our mushroom family of products has received over 50,000 positive reviews.

Questions & Answers

Is there a distinction between the metal and rubber versions? I was dissatisfied with the rubber ones because the hair/soap buildup was difficult to remove?

I got rid of my rubber/plastic ones and replaced them with these metal ones. These dome up a little more over the drain (which I like), but they stay nice and tidy and are much easier to clean. With black scum, the others got downright filthy. I still have to remember to clean these on a regular basis. These sinks' stoppers broke, and I'm not sure I need them. If I ever need to fill the sink, I have a rubber plug on hand. Without a doubt, I recommend these!

Is this going to fit over a regular pop-up sink drain? The faucet has a plunger rod behind it that you can pull up or push down to open it. Thanks. ?

The plunger plug has to be completely removed. It can be unhooked behind the sink, where it has been hooked. Then, to plug the sink, take out the shroom and insert the black plug that came with it. If the mushroom did not come with a plug, you will need to purchase an old-fashioned plug to plug the sink.

Is this wide enough to fit in the tub, or is it too narrow?

This is designed for sink drains, but it will also fit in most tub drains (it has a 1.25 inch diameter). 5" adapter), but for tubs, the TubShroom Ultra is a better option.

What country does it come from?

I've found that this is the only sink filter that actually works
5/5

The silicon sink mushroom was one of my favorites. It worked well for a while, but after a few months, it developed a black stain on the material that was impossible to remove. I really like the new all-metal look. The metal is impervious to mildew, but it still works to trap the hair and gunk that was clogging up my sink. It is something I strongly suggest.

THE BEST SINKING PRODUCT AVAILABLE! I can't say enough about how fantastic these sink mushrooms are
5/5

The previous model didn't allow water to drain properly, but they've made significant progress in creating the BEST product: these are made of high-quality stainless steel and come with three different rubber inserts depending on the size of your sink, which is super convenient for a perfect fit. They've also included a great feature for cleaning your sink shroom: the top and insert pieces can be unscrewed for a thorough cleaning of the product once it becomes clogged with filth. They go about their business and catch everything that falls down the drain. My husband and I will always buy these (when they need to be replaced, which I don't think will be for a long time) because they are well worth the $15. You will not be dissatisfied with your purchase.

This is such a significant improvement that it truly deserves to be called Ultra Revolutionary
5/5

I've had several types of SinkShrooms, but my favorite is the Ultra Revolutionary type, which I place in the drain (no stoppers allowed) and pull out every now and then to remove all the hair. The gunk is easily removed. What I like best about it is that it does not stain like the others I've had. It appears to be long-lasting. br>It also includes a backup black-out cover. I accidentally threw away a spoke silicone/rubber gasket because I couldn't remember what it was for until I removed the Ultra type for cleaning. I noticed the gasket once more. If you're prone to forgetfulness, tape the spare gasket inside the medicine cabinet or attach a label to it.

It works, but I often wonder if it's worth the effort; I had to use the smallest adapter for my bathroom drain
3/5

It's still a tight fit that's difficult to put together and even more difficult to remove for cleaning. I must exercise extreme caution in order to avoid breaking it. It does catch hair that falls down the drain, but the time it takes to remove it from the drain and then get the hair off of it, which is tangled pretty well around the teeth, almost makes it not worth the effort. FYI, I only clean it once a week because I don't want to break it by fiddling with it too much. I'll keep using it, but if I knew then what I know now, I wouldn't have ordered it.

Stainless steel is an excellent choice for a number of reasons
5/5

Version 0 – Shrooms for both the sink and the tub. I bought the first version of the Verson plastic/silicon/whatever was- made- Because I bought a house in 2018 that was built in 1966 and has (apparently) original sinks and tubs with NO original stoppers, I've been collecting Tub Shrooms and Sink Shrooms. The addition of stainless steel to an already fantastic design is a huge step forward. While this is less of an issue with the Sink Shroom (I am a female who lives alone, so I can't speak to beard hair in the sink), it is excellent at catching hair and the stainless steel model gives the Shroom a solid structure rather than the more flexible plastic/silicon/whatever the first version is made of. Going from a ten-year-old house to a fifty-year-old house, who knows what's in my pipes, so I'm very cautious about catching hair or anything else that shouldn't go down the drain, such as an earring or finger ring. As I prepare for the day and the multiple O-s, my hands shake, so it's not uncommon for me to drop things into the sink. Rings ensure a more secure fit while preventing water from backing up in the drain. If you shed like a St. Bernard dog like I do, you should clean your Tub Shroom (also known as your "tub ferret") after every shower. Otherwise, you will notice a water backup. br>br>Wonderful little devices. I hope you found this review to be useful. Kindly notify me.

Prevents the drain from being clogged by stray cloth wipes
4/5

My utility sink was clogged and needed to be cleaned out. Because I couldn't decide between the two sizes (TubShroom and SinkShroom), I bought both. The SinkShroom with the largest plug worked as well as the TubShroom with the smallest plug. For my utility sink, I went with the SinkShroom. The SinkShroom comes with adapter plugs in 1" and 1" sizes. 25" or 1. Drains in the size of 5" I clean the SinkShroom by removing it after several washing machine washes, as instructed. After the fifth wash, I try to tackle it. I simply wipe it down with a paper towel, give it a quick rinse, and replace it. Overall, my sink drains much better than it did when it was left open and plugged up with a cloth wipe. It's also far superior to the low-cost mesh sink strainer I bought at the hardware store.

It can save a marriage (as well as a lot of time)
5/5

I had to snake out our shared bathroom sink on a regular basis, which was a constant source of frustration for me. The hairball clogs were epic, thanks to my wife's long hair and my body hair. Since we bought it, we haven't had to snake the drain. To be fair, we had been using the tub shroom for a couple of years and were familiar with the concept, but the stainless steel cap blends in so well with the sink that you don't even notice it's there.
