More than two decades have passed since I began working in the industry. The drains in my home have failed numerous times. No one has ever had a failure with one of these. Investments in this system are the only ones worth making. The instructions need to be followed. You can live without worries!.
It was a complete waste of money to buy this Schluter drain. In the closet, it sat for a long time after I had ordered it. When I went to install it today, it did not My initial thought was that I had gone wrong with the measurement, but it appears that the advertised length is off. Although it was advertised as 28 inches, I had plenty of room to miss the joists. However, it turned out to be 29 1/2" long instead. This product is still in the original packaging, so it is impossible to miss it! I would appreciate it if Amazon would take this product back. It is past the 30-day period, but the advertised timeframe does not reflect the reality!.

If you are not either a setter or a plumber, stay away from it. The design is designed for a walk-in shower without curb to function as it should.
Our new linear drain looks stunning in the master bathroom. Because I could not find any good pictures of the trim, I was a little concerned about how it would look. But I did not have to be concerned. This perfectly reflects our desire for a modern, clean-lined look in.
I really like it.
