As part of our Delta Venetian Brass fixtures installation, we needed a matching drain. were not able to find this with Delta, however, we did find the drain which will work to match the valves and other components. Although the installer had never installed this type of drain before, he was able to do it relatively easily, and I believe that it would be similar in the single connection to the drain piping Installers found that the housing could be wiggled loose after they had installed it in the concrete mud so the shower head could be height adjusted according to the height of the tile installed. Overall, we are pleased with the selection, though we have not yet taken a shower. With the provided retrieval hook, the drain cover can be easily removed, and the plastic basket for removing the screen should allow us to get rid of the hair and debris. In case of a deteriorating situation, I will post an update. In the last picture we see Neodrain in comparison with Delta's "Venetian Bronze," which they call rubbed bronze.
Despite the description of oil rubbed bronze being accurate, the actual color is nothing like the description. I've included an attached photo, showing the color as it's not even close to being accurate. My next step will be to find a color match that is more accurate.
I love this drain, it's so well made. I think this looks much nicer than a painted finish since it is powder coated and baked on. It is highly recommended over the other options. By mistake, I ordered another when I needed a second. I was not as pleased with the service and was returned it and got neodrains.
I love the way it looks when it's To blend it with the floor, we planned on covering it with tile. However, it looks good just as it is, so we did not change it. That linear drain is really dope.
The box is amazing because it appeared to be really well made. We have not installed it yet, but it really looks nice. I think the only thing wrong was the description of the color. One description said the metal was bronze, while another said it was copper red. There is a slight reddish tint to it, but it should.
I was amazed at the beauty of the drain. A contractor made our hole to the specification of our bathroom remodeling, based on the size of the hole. However, when the drain arrived, the box and online description said it was longer than it actually was. So we had to return it and get another which was shorter.
It's a nice looking drain, it works well and it collects hairs and dirt well. In spite of this, the copper color on the outside is fading. This appears to have just been painted over and is not entirely copper in color. This one is not worth purchasing again at this price, I have had it for only 3 months and it is starting to lose It is so simple as getting another drain cover or a refund.
