They've been in excellent condition for almost three years! In December 2016, I bought a set of brushed nickel hooks, and they're still going strong. I was concerned that these would rust quickly because we live in a humid, wet area. They're really good, which surprised me. The photos depict the hooks in the best and worst condition of the set after almost three years of daily use by two adults. br>br>Take good care of yourself. br>br> Keeping it up - I sprayed them with WD-40 at first to keep them clean. When I first put them up, I was 40 years old. At the same time, I sprayed my shower curtain rod with WD-40 and reapplied it. 40 at random, perhaps a couple of times over the years. Because it's so humid here, we also use a squeegee and chamois to clean our shower stall after every use. The lubricant, as well as removing the majority of the moisture from the shower walls, are likely to help keep these hooks in good working order. br>br>Application - The balls made a noise as the curtain moved along the rod the first time I used them, but it wasn't a deal breaker for me. As some others have mentioned, I've had no problems fitting different curtain or liner grommets over the ball at the end of each hook. br>br>My experience with any metal or even stainless steel items at our house is that, due to our humid climate, some maintenance is required to keep them in good condition. As a result, after years of daily use, I am completely satisfied with the condition of these hooks.

The Double-Sided Premium Quality Brushed nickel Hook Rolerball Shower Curtain Rings (set of 12)- Despite mixed reviews on rust-free/corrosion-free, I decided to give them a try. I liked the idea of double hooks because it would save me time opening the curtain rings and removing the liner and/or curtain for washing. The rings are simple to attach to the rod and glide along it smoothly. It only took me a few minutes to hang my shower curtain and liner. I paid a little more for the rings and the rod than I usually do, but the quality is well worth it; by the way, I'm over 70 and have tried a lot of shower curtain rings in my life; these are the best so far!.

These are attractive on the surface, but I bought them primarily because they were advertised as rust-free, and I was tired of replacing rusted hooks every month. Unfortunately, after about a month of use, they are completely rusted. Based on the reviews, I'm surprised; Maybe it's just a lemon I got.

When you've spent the entire day moving into a new place and all you want to do now is take a shower before going to bed? Shower curtain is the only item that must be quickly unpacked and installed. As a military family, this is a common occurrence, and I've had to deal with the clip open and close rings for the past decade, and it takes far longer than it should for no design benefit. Taking off my old, inconvenient clip rings took FOREVER in comparison to the minute and a half it took to put these up. Who knew shower curtain rings could make you so impressed, but they do. Not only are they designed to be super functional and easy to use, but they also look great (I got the black). They also roll super smoothly, which you don't notice until you change them and realize how bad the previous ones were. Overall 100% recommend, I will be replacing all of my showers Curtain rings right now . It's a small price to pay for a significant improvement in appearance and, more importantly, design.

The claim made by 2 lb Depot that their nickel-plated shower curtain hooks will not corrode or rust is untrue. They're spotty, blackened, and tarnished with rough spots after a year of normal use (2 person household).

I'm trying to avoid making the same mistakes I made in the past by buying cheaper items in the mistaken belief that I was saving money. These are of good quality, sturdy, and the design is clever for those of us who have limited hand strength or dexterity when it comes to removing the shower curtain. To wash the liner, remove it. It's the better deal by a long shot! Thank you a lot! br>Recent changes: I found a brand new (different manufacturer) version of the same style for $2 at a thrift store.

My bathroom was recently remodeled. I prefer a classic, yet stylish, look. These curtain hooks were perfect for the job; there were a lot of sellers, but you get what you pay for in most cases. Despite the fact that there were many hooks available at a lower price, I chose the 2 Lb. I'm glad I went with the two hook style instead of the kind that comes with both shower liners. The curtains are all on the same hook and are very close together. Most of the time, the liner needs to be replaced, but the curtain stays in place, so you only have to remove one. These hooks glide easily and, based on what I've read, should last a long time; I'm very happy with this purchase. This seller comes highly recommended by me. all.
