7-inch hook At its widest point, it's 2 3/8" wide. The tiniest end is 2" wide. The lag bolts have a length of 4 3/8" and a screw diameter of 1/4". The bolt's threaded portion measures 2 1/8" in diameter. Thanks!
1/8" long
Although they are flat black, they have a surface pattern that adds texture. Because I live on the coast in a harsh environment, I intend to refinish mine with a high-gloss black paint. I installed them in April of 2017 and there have been no visible signs of rust yet; however, I anticipate that they will require painting by spring of 2019.

The price is unbeatable, and they look nice and are of good quality. I took my time and figured it out because the "directions" were just a small piece of paper with a squiggly diagram that was impossible to understand. However, the "S" portion of the unit is wobbly, and I had to buy three washers per unit to make the S fit snugly. The units did, however, come with a metal bracket that fits behind the shutter and secures it in place. This is something I haven't seen in any of the competitors' products. Overall, I'd recommend them, but you'll need to be a little handy to put them together.
Almost all of the components are made of stainless steel. Steel screws with a hex head are used. As a result, the majority of rust problems are gone. A stainless screw would be ideal, as it would prevent any rust from forming. These shutters have a spring to keep them from rattling in the wind, and the bolt is long enough to fit real shutters. br>br>I purchased these to use as decorative plastic shutters that simply screw into the house. As a result, the bolts have become excessively long. As I previously stated, this appears to be a nice shutter kit. To make it work for my erroneous purpose, I had to paint a few shorter wood screws. br>br>Jay br>br>Jay br>br>Jay.
They're not quite as thick as the others I bought previously. However, it is effective. I welded two of them together to make it a little better and more durable. It now appears that locking the shudders open is a good idea.
They complete our new cedar shutters perfectly! We've had to reorder a few times. ❤️.
It does . These are designed to fit a shutter that is 13/8" wide. A 1" board and batten shutter will not work with this method. I had to take out the back spring and replace it with a 3/4-inch block behind the shutter. I have no complaints about the product's quality, but I'm not sure I'll buy them again because they don't fit a 1" shutter. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has encountered this issue. The back spring must be made to fit various shutter thicknesses. When I tried to bend the spring, it snapped.
Excellent value for money, and it arrived quickly.
high standard of excellence.
