As you can see, the hinges are lighter and thinner compared to the flat ones I previously bought. This is the good news There are hinges on the top and bottom of each pack, which is nice. As a result, the tip of the post was slightly twisted and there was a slight twist on the left side.
The worse I had to beat on it a bit to get it to sit flat in front of the door
There are 2 hinges in the pack, and one has a fairly sharp corner pointing at 45 degrees (or however it is angled). There is also a second curve, which is a little softer. In both packs this issue was present and it was on A bracket in the bottom). I do not know if this is intended or not. There is no question the curved piece offsets the shutters as it is shorter distance (shorter hypotenuse) and pulls the door in by a good 1/4"!! Will they work?
So what do you think? I think so. The only thing I regret is that it isn't a fine piece of.
This is exactly what I needed.
I am very pleased with the finish and the metal quality. My project became a success due to the easy installation of the software.
An old mountain cabin used these hinges to make shutters for the windows. It was easy to set them up and they are sturdy.
It had been scratched by previous owners, and some of the mounting pins were welded incorrectly. On the whole, I would not buy from this store.
