Off-days have been set aside for us Located in a 1990s-built home, we have windows of a well-known brand. Western Products is the name of the company on the window latch, and a quick internet search indicated the business is based in California's Central Valley. There was a problem with their operations over a decade ago, and they closed down. My search for Sun Air windows on Amazon led me to these products. I took a chance on the size because it looked about the same. I were able to fit them perfectly to my windows. When the track has been swept, the rollers have been replaced, and some non-slip compounds have been added, When you apply silicone lubricant to the track, your windows will open and close as I appreciate your kind words!.
When I searched for the part, I worried I wouldn't be able to find one for my older aluminum-framed sliding It was nearing the point where I would need to replace the windows because they were no longer gliding. Now my windows roll like they're on ice, I'm glad I found this product.
These rollers look brand new after being cleaned up and having these new bottom rollers installed! The opening and closing of the doors are now much easier! I would say it's a good price too, roughly half what it costs at I appreciate your kind words!.
It's an exact replacement for the rollers that come with my aluminum window. There are several of them on my larger windows that are badly damaged, making it difficult to work with them. You will need to save your old screws because they come with these replacements. They are held in place with one Phillips head screw that isn't included. Two rollers are included per pack, showing that one window pane can cover two rollers. Because I was contemplating replacing the whole window until I realized these were replaceable parts, these parts saved me a lot of money.
This set of rollers was used to replace the original rollers on a "sunair". An aluminum window that is 28 years old. We changed them out in a few minutes and they're working great again.
Despite our best efforts to grease them, we found them difficult to open. wanted to investigate some things through the window, so I opened it. My research led me to realize the problem was with the wheels and the plastic casings that the wheels were sitting in. The next day I looked to see if my favorite webstore (Amazon) had them. Once these new rollers are on, the windows will as good as new once more.
I replaced what I needed and have extras on hand for future uses.
Contacted manufacturer and they told me. The width of a 7/8" is not the widest part. Measuring your old roller is recommended before ordering this one. The roller has a maximum diameter of 5/8". A great product just doesn't fit as described, no matter how good it might be.
