It is good to use soft ropes as bondage ropes.
Basically, it keeps them tightly secure without the need to tie a knot that could become snagged along the way. In general, the cotton feels extremely soft, despite having some very slight scratches in some spots. This rope is very flexible and offers plenty of spring/give, which makes it very comfortable to wear. I would recommend it.

The Japanese Silk Love Rope I was using was getting worn out, so I was looking for a replacement. The rope is not close to being as good as the rope we use for construction but after looking everywhere, skipping over horribly overpriced rope on Etsy, this is the best rope to use for our project. My favorite thing about it is how great it is. It felt decent on my arm when I tested it. It has not been a problem for the person I tied up. There's no reason not to try.
