You can cut and resize this rope easily with a sharp knife. If you do this, you will need to wrap it in tape before cutting. This will keep the rope from getting loose and unbraided during cutting.

It was used to make a porch daybed and has stretched about 8 inches since then. There is no way to loosen the knots, so they cannot be re-tied Tying the knot. After installation, the "feel" is smooth and soft.

The rope is soft and great

When I used mine for a tire swing it gave the illusion of the old Scratchy rope but it was totally different
Very soft to the touch or even when you slide your hand down it would be great for kids.
