It would be extremely dangerous to climb on this rope. rope would be dragging you down with an immense amount of force if you were to fall. not meant to be used for climbing, even though it appears to be a climbing rope under a search.
The diameter is about 3/8", and the strength is average. It's OK to tie down things on a boat, but not to moor there. I put it on a pontoon and it snapped in no time.
It is nice of you to clarify When they can't even bother to take the time to fill my request for a certain color, I won't be buying the item.

There is something wrong with this This item is as light as a feather (not a good thing), so there is no question that it is Despite being brand new, it has frayed in random places as the result of poor manufacturing in China. As expected, the color they sent me was a disgusting mustard yellow. If you need rope for something better than a hanger, then by all means, use this. However, it is perfectly fine for securing something to your basement or shed. Despite not having weight or a grip, it feels terrible in the hands and is not ideal for learning knots or rope work. The real rope ought to have been purchased at the West Marine store.
For the same amount of money you can find much better rope. The rope is hollow at the core and goes flat when under tension. A clothesline using this rope may be ok while camping, but typically this rope is of poor quality. No way would you trust it to hold a tire swing for your kids. This is the closest thing to junk you can find. A rope to be used as a fender is not recommended. I guarantee you that it will be rotten within a month under the sun.
Neither in the description nor in the price did it mention that the colors might be random. As the picture shows, the 1/8" x 45' will be a bright red, which is exactly what I was hoping for. It's impossible to predict the color of these since the picture depicts a purple rope, but I ordered two of them. It was the size and the length that was most important to me, not the Two yellow cards and one green card were mailed to me. I guess I will go with these. They look durable and that price for 3/8 x 25' is good. As of now, I would purchase more if I needed it.
Cheap rope is what you're getting, and what you pay for is what you get. I got mine and it just fell apart at one end pretty much the moment it arrived. The knot tie will work as long as you're practicing knot tying Though I wouldn't trust it for anything critical.
I purchased this item as an add-on item and it was very easy to purchase! This is the perfect rope for utility applications. With the variety of colors, it is fun to get a color you didn't expect! A perfect length and good condition orange was delivered to me. A shed or basement or even supply kit would be a nice place to use this. 195 lbs can be lifted with this very lightweight product.
