It is in no way stiff. Polypropylene is hard and rigid. This material is soft and pliable. Polyethlyene is used to make it. I like this rope very much.
As soon as it comes in contact with water, it sinks. You need a floatable rope made from polypropylene if you want a rope that will not sink.
All of it is synthetic, according to me. In the past, we used it to hang bathing suits on our pool deck (now we've moved). I was very impressed with how well it held up
Dacron is at the heart of the core.

The weight is supposed to be about 1000 pounds, and I believe it to be true. Then I made a bowline knot and attached the loop to my vise, and I was ready to crank. Then I turned it over and over again. There was an unbelievable amount of tension in the rope. By the time I broke, I was squeezing it until it took a lot of strength just to turn the handle on the vise in my attempt to stretch it to the point where I After a long struggle, it finally fell apart. However, it took a lot of effort! I apologize that I didn't measure the force, but I would estimate it to be about 1000 pounds.
My antennas are installed at portable locations so I need a way to support them. I am very pleased with this purchase and it fits well.
For the 80-inch round mirror, I hung it from the hook This loop antenna has a meter diameter.
The rope is made of a mesh outer cover with a nice tight twist. Just what I was looking for to put on the trees to put ham antennas!.
I used this line outside for 2 years in all weather conditions. As of now, the line is in excellent condition with no obvious degradation in its holding strength or flexibility.
As soon as I bought 50', I loved the fabric so much that bought 100' and may The solidity of the product feels strong and sturdy to the touch. In my garage, I use it to hang my hammocks and to rack my paddleboards.
I used this product to set up a 160 foot-long DX LB 100' long frame The dipole is 40 meters long, which is perfect for amateur radio. It is used both at the ends and in the center feed point of the dipole. With a Rohm tower attached to it, it stands 40' tall. I'm very satisfied with this purchase!.
This is also a very long article! Quite a bit of line is still left over.
