Yes, I purchased a second one for my brother, who moves 6,000 pound loaded trailers every weekend.
Yes, I believe the paint would be harmed in some way. If it were up to me, I think I'd look for some rubberized hooks. For bike racks, 2" straps appear to be excessive! 1" hooks would suffice, and most are rubber-coated.
I PAY FOR EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM 12. 87EACH
Yes, this would be a great idea. When I put a 140/60-degree angle, I use two of them. On a 13x8 wheel, the number 13 is used. To evenly distribute the pressure around the tire, use two straps evenly spaced as close as possible to the tire's center line.

For the past 30 years, I've used ratchet straps to secure loads in my business. I bought these straps because of the positive feedback. I suspect, however, that those who wrote the reviews had no prior experience with this type of product. br>br>I strongly advise you NOT to buy this product for several reasons: Webbing is thin and frail. The flat hook has an excessively wide angle, and the ratchet mechanism is sloppy, making it difficult to use. The Kinefyne ratchet straps are slightly more expensive, but they are of much higher quality. I hope this helps (I wrote the review because I was frustrated with the product's poor quality - I was cheated).
Based on reviews, I purchased these. I was hoping they would last longer than previous models, but after only a month of use, one of the ratchets has broken. The strap is made of flimsy material that easily twists in the ratchet. They were a total squander of funds!.
I recently purchased a number of these for my upcoming cross-country move. Nice straps, and the length is a big plus, at least most of the time; dealing with the tail can be a pain if you don't have a lot of it. It also has a fantastic ratchet mechanism. A small amount of Wd- When they're brand new, they'll cost you $40 and will work flawlessly for the rest of your life. Without a doubt, I would recommend these.
These are excellent straps, but they will not work for furniture strapping, so I had to return them. However, it is extremely durable and can be used to secure cargo.
The ratchet and release are both functional, and the color is pleasing to the eye. In addition, the hooks are extremely durable. I'm pretty sure this thing could handle a Boeing 747 being pulled up Mount Everest by the Incredible Hulk! It had more ratchet than I needed for my project, but if I ever need to do more serious work, this is the one I'll use. It was also an excellent value for the specifications.
I had a repairman out several times to balance the stacked washer and dryer, but it still rattled and made a racket every time I did laundry. To keep the stacked washer and dryer from shaking and rattling, I wrapped a strap around them. It was EXACTLY what I was looking for. The washer is no longer making a lot of noise!.
When I saw the wide J ends on this heavy duty ratchet tie down, I knew it would help me tilt the engine. One clip attaches to the engine cover rear hand grip, and the other clip attaches to a fixed anchor point, and the extra long ratchet handle easily ratchets and pulls the engine to tilt with little effort. This ratchet is a steal at $12, and it works great as a heavy-duty, come-along pull ratchet.
These heavy-duty (3333 lb) tie downs will keep my tractor and trailer safe and secure. The Flat Hook design is more secure than traditional hook-and-loop tie downs. It's a pleasure to work with this company. Thank you for your prompt delivery and excellent product.
