The "long legged" Telephone Inside Wire staples that fit in the ACME Model 18A Stapler. br>br>The staples have a "round crown" that fits nicely over inside phone wire (Cat 3 or 5) and does a good job of interfacing with it without damaging it. There are two different "leg lengths" for these staples. These 11mm staples are the long version, allowing for a secure, long-lasting attachment to wood or sheet rock (wall board). The shorter version struggles with sheet rock, and the wire eventually falls off the wall. The 18A stapler can handle both the short and long versions (11mm). Choose the long (11mm) version. br>br>How did I come by this esoteric knowledge? Amazon is to be thanked. I looked for staples for my industrial-style project for a LONG time. a stapler of extreme strength (It had been dormant for at least ten years!) After visiting two of our large-scale retailers, we were fortunate enough to find it on Amazon. In the area, there are a lot of big-box home improvement stores. There was no luck, but Amazon had exactly what I was looking for. Since then, I've used these staples to reattach fence wiring to wood posts that had buckled. It was also used to secure some garage door opener wiring to the wood facing near the door. Does an excellent job, and the small tunnel-like structure adds to the overall effect. My staple gun's shaped spacer prevents the wire from crunching as it is tightly attached. The staple prongs may be available in two different lengths. I purchased the longer lengths in the hopes that they would hold the material more securely.
Staple gun with 18 staples I've seen a few people who are unsure about the difference between a stapler and a staple. It's for wiring, and the staple has a round top. Telephone workers who ran landlines into homes used to use it a lot. It meets all of my requirements.
In a stapler, it worked perfectly.
Arrow staples are a good option for staples, especially since I own an ARROW stapler.
The job was completed successfully! A big thumbs up!.
These tiny fasteners help you save time and money. You can easily fix a long length of cable on your own. The final product is as tidy and safe as one could wish. There are no large, expensive clamps or brackets to deal with. As an added bonus, the entire job can be taken down at any time, and no one will know the staples were ever there.
The fit and function are satisfactory.
