That's all I have to say about them if you're familiar with them. Those unfamiliar with TapCons should be aware of the following: br>br> They're masonry screws that require a predrilled hole but are extremely durable and reliable. In my years of construction and maintenance, I can't think of a single thing I haven't used them for. Plastic sleeves were beaten to a pulp. br>br>To drill the holes, you'll need a hammer drill. If you don't, you'll be frustrated and exhausted, and your hole will almost certainly be slightly oversized (which is bad for these screws). br>br>These were packaged in a bag within a small cardboard box. It took me a few minutes to locate the drill bit that came with the kit. The seller has sent me two polite emails, one thanking me for my purchase and the other informing me that my package has arrived. br> If you found this article useful, please let Amazon know by clicking the link below.
In my basement, I used board panels to cover the block walls. They're now carrying hundreds of pounds of equipment. The drill bit provided worked great for the 36 holes I had to drill and still has plenty of life left in it, so there's no need to go with a name brand.
These are adequate for the price; however, they do not cut cement as well as other brands, and they will easily break if you apply too much torque when driving them in.
They did a good job, and we're not too expensive.
Exceptional offer.
