Yes, Harold, the thumb nuts have a hole that goes all the way through them and is threaded all the way through. My thumb nuts number in the tens. There are 24 threads in total.

These nuts were purchased to replace fasteners on a pet crate that had been lost. They work well, and I'm happy with my purchase. The screws and bolts that will be used with these nuts must be purchased separately. Great product at an affordable price.

They're well-made and perform admirably. I'm not going to use them as a pet carrier, but if I have any leftover from this project, it'll be nice to know I'll have some spares in case I need them for the cats.
