Questions & Answers
Why are these pins not sticking to the drywall? They just appear out of nowhere?
Because the pins are smooth and designed to be used as fasteners in wood, they will not stay in drywall if any weight is being supported.
Is the metal used in these pins? or is it something else entirely? What is the material that is coated onto it? It is described as galvanized, finish coated. ?
They're made of steel and have a thin galvanized finish.
Selected User Reviews For BOSTITCH Pin Nails, Headless, 23GA, 1-Inch, 3000-Pack (PT-2325-3M)
I recently purchased a pin nailer from HF, and these pins performed admirably
5/5
There is a very small hole that has been left behind. These are far superior to the 18ga I've been using for finishing work, and they're virtually undetectable.

Paint covers the holes in this headless pin, making it ideal for trim work
5/5
I'm so happy I found these, as well as the Numax pin gun. They make working with brittle wood or light trim so much easier because nothing is visible in the wood (no filling required), and there are no more split boards. I've used these a couple of times now, and the paint has completely covered the marks with no holes. For anyone who does any type of trim work, this is a must-have!.

Only brads are used by me
5/5
I've tried several different brands of brads, and these are the only ones that don't jam up the pneumatic gun.

My Makita nail gun is frequently clogged by these pins. Other brands do not cause any issues.

Although a little pricey, they work well when you have a small hole to fill.
