In order to expand the screw anchors, I used the Greenlee 868 screw anchor expander after drilling 1/2" holes with a masonry bit. I have not had to deal with frustration in the past thanks to this tool. There are two Wejs. Putting in an it tool is less expensive, but you risk driving the anchor into the cavity if you are installing it in a concrete block. Using the Wej-126 machine, if you have complete control over the hole depth in concrete, can be very useful Tools for the technology industry.

Unfortunately, the lack of a set tool has caused a lot of complaints. If they don't give you free tools or it's not the best way to install these anchors, they may give you one for free. A simple set tool consists of a metal punch with a pin in the center to allow it to be lined If you drill into a hollow area, then you are going to have a problem. During the process of pushing the anchor through, you may curse the hole you made and wonder how you are going to get that anchor into that hole. There is a tool made by Greelee that will set the anchor no matter where the hole is drilled. There are many places where you can buy it, including Amazon. You don't get the same value with this tool as the free ones you get with some of these expansion anchors, but you do I have provided a link to 1/4x20 model for your convenience. Make sure you get the one that is right for these anchors, they make them in many I'm talking about these anchors, which measure 1/4" by 20".
Both boxes lacked the tool that was described in the product description as being in the box. There were also 3 anchors missing in one box and 2 missing in the other. The number of votes is in my hands. The anchors have not yet been used since I do not have a tool to set them. It looks as if there will be no hurricanes in the near future. The product is made.
Wow, was that really that easy? These were installed on a concrete block house so that hurricane shutters could be mounted. Remember to drill to the proper depth and to the correct screw length. The 1 1/2" screws fit into the 1/2" diameter holes that I drilled 1" deep, as I had 5/8" plywood and 1 1/2" screws. You don't need to go any deeper than that for installing in concrete blocks. The anchor will be redetermined by an 1/8 of an inch at 1" depth. If you don't have the set tools, you'll need to get them.
The price is good and the product works as expected.
The tool that comes with either of them was not included. A purchase of two boxes was made. These anchors don't include the setting tool, which is required to actually set the anchor into the cement block. Ordered directly from the manufacturer is the better option.
I see nothing wrong with this.
Getting good value for your money.
It was as expected with no problems.
