What are the mounting options for this?

For the installation of ours, we used a drillbit to drill holes through the side of the mailbox and into the nuts and bolts. Attach the tube to the side of the mailbox with a bolt.

A smooth surface that is practically frictionless

We are very pleased with the quality of this newspaper holder. Roll up a newspaper and snuggle it inside. Even bigger, it's so easy to reach inside! Due to the smooth round wall inside, pulling out the paper does not cause any friction, thus there have been no static discharges or electrical shocks! Walking barefoot or in shoes across uneven terrain should always be avoided - In any one of the following ways The quickest way to find the mailbox is to walk along boardwalks, roads, streets, and wooded areas, especially during newspaper/mailbox retrieval!.
