Essentially, I needed a desk lock. I thought if it could serve as a mailbox lock, I'd get it. All the locking levers included make it so it fits nearly anything. I was right, it is a very strong lock. The cylinder is smooth and easy to lock/unlock, it is.
If it is too thin, it is not very safe, since it could be easily broken.
