Nub 11/32" is the dimension of the square end of cylinder barrel shaft, commonly known as the square end.
To fit the retainer saddle clip into two holes on the edge of the barrel, there are two spacing notches. It should be the one closest to the lock head that allows the thickness of the door.

It looks about right size to me, but I am not sure. Upon purchase, a key and a code will be provided. If you need more keys, I guess you wouldn't have a problem getting them

This was the perfect solution for my mailbox, and I am happy to have purchased it. There was a fee of 30 dollars from the postal service. Approximately $7 was spent on this. We have so far been able to accomplish what we set out to do. A recommendation is in order for this product.
I prefer the new key chain from a new vendor. It's cheap and thin, and it works very well. The first time I used it, it got stuck, then I could not lock it back no matter what I did for fear I would break the second key, so I bought a new one that was of better quality so that we do not have to waste our time or money.
In order to fit it to our mailbox, I had to cut and file it. As long as you have the same lock, you should be.
Almost five weeks were spent on the project. As a result, inserting and removing the key became nearly impossible. This is junk. I eventually had to pay $50 to the USPS to have one of their locks installed.
The installation process is straightforward. The construction of the product seems to be pretty good. My old mailbox lock had worn out and this lock was perfect for replacing it. It's nice to notice I no longer have to worry about the key getting stuck while checking mail. This is a simple to install product. Remove old unit and replace it with new. Please use this one instead of the last. There is a small clip for securing the bag. That's a great value for the money. I really like the quality of this product.
The rotation direction of the lock does not specify if it should open or lock, so I bought the wrong one.
It is easy to install and works, but I need to tighten the inside nut after a week, but I have been using it.
The new lock was a perfect match for the old one. There is a little stiffness in the lock mechanism, but it works fine.
