We live on a busy street with a lot of cars and trucks passing by, and we've never had a problem with the flag staying up or down. It hasn't stayed open or closed as a result of the wind.
If I understand you correctly, you want to substitute "propane" and "UPS" for "mail"?
black and white are both options

This appears to have been printed in three dimensions. Threads dangle from it, so it's not your average plastic. I'm not sure about the quality, so I'm not going to drill holes in my mailbox to install it; instead, I'll use double-sided tape or liquid nail. I don't believe the $17 I paid for it was well spent. br>br>I hadn't expected it to be made of such unusual material. I like the concept and am hopeful that it will work well and withstand the Florida weather. In three months, I'll provide an update on my review.
It does what it says it'll do, but it's a visible and clumsy 3D printed object. The one I received was encrusted with stray plastic threads. It's laying around somewhere because it's too unsightly to put on my brick mailbox. Overpriced to the point of absurdity.
Because I have a bricked mailbox, I can't replace the entire box insert because it's cemented in. This was exactly what I needed, and I no longer have to worry about the mail people despising my battered mail box door. It was easy to put together and fit perfectly. (The most difficult part was removing the old door, which required drilling a hole through the rivets) This new face fits perfectly and closes smoothly! I'd give it a ten out of ten!.
There were no flags on either of my daughters' postboxes. One was a rounded, part-plastic structure, while the other was a brick structure. We came across these and decided to give them a try. It is highly recommended.
Installing it was a breeze. The mailbox at our new house is surrounded by bricks, so there was no room to put a flag on the side of it that would work. I didn't want to drill a hole in the bricks, so I didn't. Our mail was not picked up without the flag in place. This was a brilliant idea! It's simple to put together and doesn't look cheesy.
I needed a flag solution for outgoing mail because my mailbox is enclosed in a brick monument. This is a great product that is simple to install. I think it's a little pricey for something that was 3D printed and needed some cleaning when I got it. (The printing process had left a lot of plastic "threads" on it. ) Otherwise, this is a fantastic item.
I was concerned about the durability of this mailbox flag when I ordered it because it will be exposed to the elements 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It looks like it's made of a thick, sturdy plastic, similar to Little Tykes slides. With the included screws, my husband was able to easily install it. To install it on the mailbox door, you'll need a drill. We've only had it for a week, but I think it'll be fine.
I hadn't expected it to be 3D printed, but what a brilliant concept! I work for an engineering firm with a few 3D printers, so I'm familiar with the amount of time it takes to print something like this. What an innovative idea for those who don't want a traditional mailbox flag drilled into the brick mortar; the cost of the machine plus the hours of print time, I believe it is well worth the price; what an innovative idea for those who don't want a traditional mailbox flag drilled into the brick mortar. See photos of the finished product, which I think looks fantastic and which I hope will withstand the Texas weather! I don't send out a lot of mail, so usage will be limited, but hopefully it will last. I was very pleased with the final product, and the fact that I didn't have to drill into my brick mortar was a plus.
