If a magnet sticks, the magnetic flag will as well. Thanks
It is only weakly magnetic and will not stay up due to the extra thickness on the front. It should be hung with the words visible on it.

It'll be blown off the mailbox by the slightest breeze. The item appears to be thin, inexpensive, and grossly overpriced. I gave it back to you.
I store it in my mailbox until I'm ready to send mail. It fell to the ground when the mailman attempted to put it down. He now replaces it in the mailbox alongside my mail. It works, but only because the mailman is on the same page as you. operates.
We have a front porch with steps and a wall that separates us from the rest of the neighborhood. mailbox on a wall The box had no way of alerting the postman that there was mail waiting to be picked up when it was sold. I modified a mailbox flag to hang on the box so the postman would know if there was mail to be picked up or, conversely, if there was no mail to be picked up, reducing the amount of time I had to climb up and down the steps.
The magnets are very weak and will not stick to anything, including my mailbox, without slipping down after a few seconds. That isn't the most technologically advanced feature to master. br>br>It looks like it does in the picture, which I like, but if it doesn't work, you don't get any stars for being exactly what I expected.
Sadly, the flag's magnet is ineffective. I have a metal mailbox, so I have to carefully place and balance the flag to keep it in place. It undermines the flag's entire purpose. To make the flag usable, I'll simply purchase a magnet and glue it on. It's a great concept, but it's not carried out well. I wouldn't buy it again, but I'm not in the mood to deal with the hassle of returning it.
Great idea, which is why I gave it two stars instead of one, but it's a shame the manufacturer didn't include a stronger magnet - It'll be blown off by a strong breeze. I'm going to try putting a super strong magnet on the inside of the box to keep it from blowing off. If that doesn't work, I'll send it back and buy a steel flag to use with the extra-strong magnet I already have - That's what I would have done in the first place.
This is something I'm glad I got. There is no need to assemble it; simply remove it from the package and use it.
When my mailbox was plowed over during a severe New England blizzard, I assumed I'd have to pay for a new mailbox until I discovered this magnetic post flag replacement online, which was the perfect solution without the additional costs.
