For a great 1800 flag, it's simple to modify. Well-made, long-lasting, and low-cost It's well-made and looks fantastic. Is there anything else you could want? I cut off the stop on mine so that it could rotate 1800 degrees for use on a wall mount mailbox that didn't come with a flag. To mount it in my mailbox, I had to drill two 3/16" holes.

Flag is fantastic - Don't squander your time on someone else! My OLD PLASTIC RED FLAG crumbled in my hands after I spray painted my mail box
5/5

br>br>It's impossible to overestimate the quality of this flag's construction. First and foremost, this is NOT a plastic flag. It is entirely made of metal and is extremely durable. It was even well constructed when I took it out of the package in terms of moving it up and down. The screws are also a plus. They included LOCK NUTs, which I realize isn't a big deal. That's incredible. I don't recall ever seeing a vendor sell lock nuts, even if they were cheap. br>br>Because my old flag pivots on one hole, I had to drill TWO new holes (no big deal) to mount this flag. So the DUCT tape on the inside is simply covering the old hole to prevent rain water from getting in. Again, nothing to get worked up about. GREAT FLAG! br>br> Recommend it highly.

For a brick mailbox, this is an excellent replacement flag
5/5

Our brick mailbox's flag needed to be replaced, and this was a great alternative. When we purchased the house, the flag was missing. We only had flimsy plastic flags to choose from in our area. This is a metal flag with a good amount of weight to it. It's a little smaller than I'd like, but it looks good and serves its purpose. It's been a few months since it was installed, and the paint has remained bright and free of chips.

I'm not sure why I didn't get this a long time ago
5/5

Our brick mailbox enclosure had a broken mailbox flag when we bought it. We've done a variety of things in the years since to notify our mail carrier that we're sending letters. a toy sand shovel in the flag bracket, a red bow tied on the bracket, and a piece of red paper sticking out the front of the mailbox closed in the door br>br>I looked in local stores but only found one replacement flag, which was of dubious quality and cost an arm and a leg, so I decided to look on Amazon. This flag was the cheapest, was made of steel, and appeared to fit into the same holes as the old one. br>br>I received this flag quickly and installed it in less than five minutes. It looks great, functions well, and looks like it will be on our mailbox for a long time.

It gets the job done
5/5

Someone stole our plastic mailbox flag, and I didn't want to replace it with one that was simply stuck on. Due to the fact that our mailbox is made of plastic, I had to prepare ahead of time. To put it in place, drill holes in the mail box. It made connecting the piece on the inside extremely difficult, which I assume is to prevent people from hitting the screws on the inside or to make it more sturdy. It's a little difficult to pull up and it sticks, but it does the job. It doesn't appear to be flimsy and is well-made. I would recommend having two people install it because getting the screw out and then screwing it in while holding the flag piece in place was a bit difficult. I have no complaints at all, and if I had to, I would purchase another one.

It's a good piece at a good price
5/5

This was an obvious choice because my mailbox is by Architectural Mailboxes, and the original plastic flag only lasted 6 months before the plastic pivot broke off. The flag bracket has two holes that you bolt through to the side of the metal mailbox with provided hardware or provide your own hardware for mailboxes made of thicker material or masonry. This replacement is marked as fitting all Architectural Mailboxes brand mailboxes, but it could be fitted to just about anything because it has two holes that you bolt through to the side of the metal mailbox with provided hardware or provide your own hardware for mailboxes made of thicker material or masonry. br>One reviewer claimed that the bolts couldn't fit in the bracket without bending the flag, so they tossed it out - The trick is to pivot the flag into an upright position, which allows you to easily access the holes. Except for the plastic spacer, which may be used on the inside of the mailbox depending on your type of installation, all of the parts are powder coated metal. It should be fine because it's just a spacer. br>br>I installed it today - 2 bolts, 4 washers, and 2 nuts. br>br>At $4, this is a good deal. While it would have been nice if the original flag had been built as well, at the very least, a replacement (upgraded) part is available for a reasonable price.

It's a heavy-duty piece that actually works
5/5

This is the second flag I've placed on a mailbox. It's a great alternative to the low-cost ones that come with the boxes. Drill two holes in the top and secure it with bolts. It's strong and can withstand even the most powerful winds. This one is far superior to those with plastic parts that are available.

For Your Mailbox, a Good Replacement Flag You don't have to toss out your pricey mailbox just because the flag has broken off or has been broken off
5/5

This new mailbox flag replaces the old one and is simple to install. It's essentially a screwdriver-based setup. The bracket and flag fit perfectly on some mailboxes, but drilling two new holes may be required on others.
