I bought this product because I needed a single rubber grommet to protect the video cable of a newly installed backup camera as it passed through a hole in an older vehicle's firewall. For my application, one of the grommet sizes included in this kit was ideal.

I'm not convinced it's made of genuine rubber. I'm not sure what kind of material these were made of, but they appeared to be more plastic than rubber.

I like these for the price, and I upgraded my wiring on a Texas Star CB amplifier to an 8 gauge pair of wires. I drilled the hole, inserted these, and fed the wire through; it looked better than it did from the factory. A fantastic selection. These are a fraction of the cost of what you'd pay in a store. I've used them in automotive applications and they've held up well. They're slick like oiled buns, which makes them ideal for wires that need to move slightly due to vibrations.

Because these items are so small, be sure to measure what you're looking for. I was trying to run camera cables in a bus, but there isn't one that will work in here.
